유아의 자아탄력성과 자아존중감이 또래유능성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 자아탄력성과 자아존중감이 또래유능성에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 J도에 소재한 유아교육기관에 재원하고 있는 만 3세~만 5세 유아 총 256명이고, 또래유능성, 자아탄력성, 자아존중감 검사도구를 통해 연구자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 Pearson 적률상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 통해 변인들 간의 상관관계와 상대적 영향력을 검증하였다. 연구결과 유아의 또래유능성, 자아탄력성, 자아존중감이 유의미한 정적상관이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 자아존중감이 유아의 또래유능성에 가장 강력하게 영향을 미치는 정적예측변인으로 나타났으며, 자아탄력성이 추가적인 예측변인으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 또래유능성에 영향력을 미치는 독립변인의 하위변인별로 분석한 결과, 자아존중감의 하위변인인 소속감, 가치감, 유능감, 통제감이 유아의 또래유능성을 예측하는 가장 강력한 변인으로 나타났으며, 자아탄력성의 하위변인인 애착, 자기통제감, 주도성이 유의미한 추가적인 예측변인으로 나타났다. 이는 유아교육현장에서 유아의 또래유능성을 높이기 위하여 자아존중감과 자아탄력성 하위요소의 영향력을 고려해야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study is to analyze the effect of young children s ego-resilience and self-esteem on peer competence. The study subjects are 256 children who are 3 to 5 years old and taken care of at the child education institute. The research data are collected by testing peer competence, ego-resiliency, self-esteem with the test tool. The data are examined by Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Multiple linear regression analysis. Then correlations and relative effects of the variables are also tested. The result of the study shows peer competence, ego-resiliency, and self-esteem are related to the meaningful static correlation. Plus, self-esteem is shown the static predictor variable as one of the strongest factor that influences peer competence. Ego-resiliency appears the additional predictor variable. Lastly, in the result of analyzing effects of each sub-variable of independent variable, sense of belonging, sense of worth, and sense of control as self-estee s sub-variables show one of the strongest variable that predicts peer competence. Plus, sense of self-control and scrupulosity as ego-resiliency s sub-variables appears the additional predictor variable. This indicates that sub-variables of self-esteem and ego-resiliency should be considered in order to child s peer competence on the children education field.
