유튜브에서 선호되는 동요의 음악적 특성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유튜브에서 선호되는 동요의 특성을 음악적 요소를 기준으로 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 유튜브 웹사이트에서 ‘인기 동요’를 검색, 누적 조회 수 순으로 20곡의 동요를 연구대상으로 이 곡들의 박자, 조성, 길이 및 형식, 음역, 음정, 리듬, 비선율적 요소, 빠르기에 대해 빈도분석을 하였다. 그 결과 유튜브에서 선호되는 동요는 4/4박자가 대다수를 차지하였으며, 특정한 조성의 곡보다 다양한 조성과 전조된 곡으로 구성되는 특징이 있었다. 또한 대부분의 곡에는 비선율적 요소인 내레이션, 추임새, 랩이 빈번하게 사용되었으며 이로 인해 벗어난 형식이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 음역은 ‘d(낮은 레)’부터 ‘c＃ (높은 도샵)’ 사이였으며, 주로 8도 또는 9도의 높은 음역 대를 가지고 있었고, 최고음정의 도약은 4도가 주로 사용되었다. 리듬은 당김음, 부점, 셋잇단음표가 일부 쓰였으며, 빠르기는 Allegro에 편중되어 있었다. 유튜브의 인기 동요는 영상과 함께 재생될 뿐 아니라 조회 수가 중요한 유튜브 플랫폼의 특성을 반영하여 길고 변화가 많은 화려한 곡이 주를 이루고 있기에 따라 부르면서 전파되었던 이전의 동요나 유아들의 발달과 새 노래 배우기 활동을 고려하여 동요를 선정하는 누리과정의 동요와는 차별된다. 본 연구의 제언으로 이상과 같은 특징을 지닌 유튜브 동요가 유아들의 음악성 발달이나 정서함양에 미치는 효과를 검증할 것을 제안하였다.;

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the children s songs preferred on YouTube based on musical elements. For this, popular children s song was searched on YouTube website as a keyword and the frequency analysis was conducted for beat, tonality, length and form, range, pitch, rhythm, non-melodic elements, and tempo of 20 children s songs in order of cumulative number of views on the website. As a result, the most preferred children s songs on YouTube were 4/4 beats, and there was a feature that the songs were composed of various tones and modulation rather than specific tonality. In addition, most of the songs were frequently used in the order of narration, Chooim-Sae, and rap, which are non-melodic elements, and because of this, it was revealed that there were many out of musical forms. The range of sound was between d(low Re) and c# (high Do#) , and it usually had a range of 8 or 9 degrees, and mainly 4 degrees were used as leaps of the highest pitch. Some parts of syncopation, dotted note and triplet were used as the rhythm, and the tempo mainly focused on Allegro. Not only are YouTube s popular songs played with video, but it also consists of colorful songs which is long and has many changes by reflecting the characteristics of YouTube platform where the number of viewers is important, so it is differentiated from the children s songs in the Nuri curriculum that selects the songs considering the previous children s songs that were spread by singing along or the development of children and the activities of learning new songs. As a suggestion of this study, it was suggested that the effects of the children s songs in YouTube with the above characteristics on children s musical development and emotional cultivation should be verified.
