서울시민의 계속거주의향에 미치는 요인분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 계속거주의향에 미치는 요인들로 경제적 여력과 생활환경만족도의 영향력을 분석하고, 이들 관계에서 지역애착의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이때 인구구조 변화를 고려 하기 위해 연령에 따라 계속거주의향에 미치는 영향력에 차이가 있는지를 구조방정식을 기반 으로 한 다중집단분석을 통해 살펴보았으며, 분석자료는 2018 서울서베이를 사용하였다. 연령별 다중집단분석 분석 결과, 청년층은 모든 경로에서 유의미한 양(+)의 결과를 보였다. 하지만, 중장년층과 노년층에서는 생활환경만족도와 계속거주의향 간 경로는 유의하지 않았으 며, 경제여력이 좋을수록 계속거주의향에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 지역애착의 매개효과는 모든 집단에서 유의미하게 나타났다. 즉, 생활환경만족도가 높아질수록 지역애착이 더욱 높아졌고 이에 따라 거주의향이 높아졌는데, 이러한 효과는 청년층에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 흥미로운 점은 중장년층과 노년층에게 경제여력은 계속거주의향에 부정 적인 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 지역애착을 매개했을 때는 계속거주의향이 올라간 다는 점이다. 이상의 연구결과는 시민들의 계속거주를 위한 지역차원의 정책적 지원을 개발시 연령별 우선시 되는 생활요구를 고려해야 하며, 특히 기존 주민의 거주의향을 높이기 위하여 재정이 많이 요구되는 여러 가지 기반시설과 서비스만 공급하기 보다는 지역애착을 강화 하는 노력을 병행하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of households’ economic affordability and living environment satisfaction as factors affecting the willingness to continue living, and to verify the mediation effect of community attachment among these variables. At the same time, in order to consider the demographic change, we examined whether there is a difference in the influence on the willingness to continue living according to age. Multi-group structural equation model by age showed that young people group had significant positive results in all pathways. In the middle-aged and elderly, the path between satisfaction with the living environment and willingness to continue living was not significant. And the economic affordability has negative impact on the willingness to continue living. Meanwhile, the mediation effects of community attachment were significant across all age groups. In particular, this relationship was most noticeable among young people group. Interestingly, the economic affordability has been shown to have a negative impact on the willingness to continue living in the middle-aged and older groups, the mediating effect of local attachment increased the willingness to continue living. Therefore, when developing regional policy measures for Seoul citizens continued residence, it is necessary to consider different living needs by age. In particular, it is necessary to make efforts to strengthen the community attachment.
