국문 초록

본고는 위기를 맞고 있는 한국교회교육의 문제점을 하나님 나라의 신학적 관점에서 분석하고 난 뒤에 변화를 위한 과제들을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 하나님 나라의 신학의 대표적 인물인 몰트만(J. Moltmann)의 신학을 활용하였다. 몰트만은 하나님 나라의 관점에서 20세기의 교회와 세계에 나타났던 문제점들을 예리하게 지적하면서 교회와 세상이 가야 할 바람직한 방향을 제시하였기 때문이다. 한국교회교육의 문제점으로 첫째, 지성을 상실하였고, 신앙의 지적 체계를 세워주는 일을 소홀히 했다. 둘째, 삶에 뿌리내리고 삶을 활기차게 살아가도록 하기보다는 삶과 분리된 심령화된 영성을 강조한다는 점에서 문제가 있다. 셋째, 구원하는 일 즉 그리스도인으로 만드는 교육에만 치중하고 성숙한 인간을 만드는 교육에는 소홀했다. 넷째, 교회인을 만드는 것에 집중하는 반면 하나님 나라의 일꾼으로서 세상 속에 담당해야 할 책임과 사명에 대한 교육을 제대로 실시하지 않았다. 다섯째, 복음의 폭넓은 차원을 교육하기 보다는 개인화되고 영혼화된 단순복음을 반복해서 교육했다. 여섯째, 너무 시끄럽고 열광주의적 교육의 폐해를 들 수 있다. 이상과 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 첫째, 지적으로 성숙한 교육을 실시해야 한다. 성서에 대한 학문적 교육과 신학과 교리교육을 통해 신앙의 지적체계를 세워주어야 한다. 둘째, 복음의 폭넓은 이해를 통하여 삶을 사랑하고 생동적인 삶을 살아가도록 해야 한다. 셋째, 영혼의 영역뿐만 아니라 전 인격적 차원에서, 교회에서 뿐 아니라 세상 속에서 빛과 소금의 역할을 담당하는 성숙한 인간이 될 수 있도록 이끌어주어야 한다. 넷째, 하나님 나라를 위한 교육이 되어야 한다. 사회역사적 책임을 인식시키고, 코이노니아 공동체를 형성하고 하나님 나라의 문화를 만들어 가야 한다. 다섯째, 가치관 변혁을 위한 교육을 실시하고 바른 기독교 가치관에 입각하여 행동하고 삶의 스타일을 만들어가야 한다. 마지막으로 교회교육이 위의 과제를 수행하기 위해 공부하는 교회가 되어야 한다.

영문 초록

This study is aimed both to analyze the problems of Korean church education in crisis and to suggest some tasks for changing them. In order to find them out, theological features and problems of Korean church Education are surveyed in terms of theological perspective of God’s Kingdom. J. Moltmann’s theology, the renowned scholar of the theology of God’s Kingdom, has been utilized for it. Firstly, Korean church education has lost the intelligence of faith in God and overlooked to build up its intelligent structure. Secondly, it has long emphasized supernatural spirituality separated from our practical experience rather than encouraging to live sound and active Christian lives. Thirdly, it did not succeed to make church members mature because it has overemphasized only the personal salvation of souls. Fourthly, it did not practice to carry out the responsibilities and commitment for this society. Fifthly, it has repeatedly emphasized the personalized and spiritualized aspects of the Gospel rather than its various aspects reinterpreted in our modern context and life. Sixthly, it resulted in the harmful effects of noisy. In order to solve the problems mentioned above, this study is to give six kinds of tasks. Firstly, it has to aim the intelligent and mature education of Korean church. Secondly, it should emphasize to love life and to live dynamic lives throughout the wide and deep understanding of the Gospel. Thirdly, it should give the guidance to live a mutual Christian life and to have integrity to play a light and salt in total aspects in both church and secular society. Fourthly, it should be the education of God’s Kingdom. Fifthly, it should give emphasis on the change of Christian values. Finally, church should be continually studying to carry out the tasks mentioned above.
