DEA 모형을 활용한 유통사업장 물류 효율성 분석

국문 초록

온라인 유통산업이 급성장하고 유통 채널간의 경쟁이 심화되면서, 물리적 공간이 있는 유통사업장의 효율성을 평가하고 운영및 구조를 개선할 필요가 있다. 특히 유통공급업체로서 제한적인 물류 인프라 및 투입비용으로 유통사업장에 대한 물류 운영 효율성을 평가하고 비효율적인 사업장에 대해서는 개선시켜야할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 유통기업 H사가 납품하는 4개 그룹 유형별(백화점·아울렛, 마트, 소규모사업장, 식재사업장 편의점) 총 69개의 유통사업장을 대상으로 물류 효율성 분석을 실시하였다. 효율성 분석의 투입 변수는 배송비, 용역비, 차량투입량 총 3가지를 선정하였고, 산출 변수는 정상 매입비율, km당 매출액, 총매출액총 3가지를 선정하였으며, DEA Solver 효율성 측정 분석프로그램을 통해 투입지향 CCR과 BCC, 규모의 효율성(SE), 초효율성(S-E) 모형을 활용하여 H사의 물류 운영 효율성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 백화점·아울렛이 상대적으로 효율성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 마트사업장은 대부분의 모형에서 효율성이 낮게 평가되었다. 셋째 소규모 사업장과 식재사업장은 저매출·저비용의특성을 가지고 있어 다소 높은 효율성을 보였으며 베스트 프렉티스 사업장과 비효율적인 사업장이 동시에 존재하고 있다. 본 연구는 유통 채널 내에 기업간 물류활동의 효율성을 측정하였다는 점에서 연구측면의 기여가 있다. 또한 유통기업들도 유통채널의 성과를 더 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서 이 모형을 활용하여 물류활동 효율성을 측정할 수 있을 것이다

영문 초록

Since the competition between online and traditional distribution channels with the rapid growth of the online distribution channel, the performance of retailer shops are evaluated and required to improve based on efficiency. From the perspective of distributors which utilize the limited logistics resources for supply, it is necessary to evaluate the relative efficiency of logistics activities between distributor and retail shops. This study, therefore, evaluates relative efficiency of logistics activities of H distribution company which supplies grocery to 69 retail shops. These shops are categorised into four groups that are department store shops, supermarket shops, small-sized shops, and grocery shops. transport cost, labor cost, the number of vehicles are input variables and purchase size, supply per kilometer, total supply are output variables. Input-oriented analysis is undertaken using DEA Solver with CCR, BCC, Scale efficiency and super efficiency models. The findings are: the department stores shops are the most efficient in the input-oriented BCC model whereas the supermarket shops are the least efficient; small-sized and grocery shops are evaluated efficient due to low cost structure some best practices for other groups; transport efficiency and frequency need to be reconsidered and improved for the groups with low efficiency scores. This study contributed to the literatue by analysing efficiency of activities between companies in the distribution channel. In addition, distribution companies nay use this model to evaluate their logistics efficiency to better manage distribution channels.
