국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 독도교육주간의 운영 실태를 조사･분석하고, 이를 토대로 문제점을 도출함으로써 독도교육의 발전방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 연구대상을 초･중등학교의 독도교육주간으로 한정하고, 시간적 범위는 2019년과 2020년으로 하며, 공간적 범위는 경상북도로 한정하였다. 조사방법은 문헌조사법과 인터넷조사법을 병행하였으며, 분석방법으로는 기술적(記述的) 분석방법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 독도교육주간의 운영 실태에 따른 독도교육의 문제점으로는 첫째, 독도교육을 위한 전문시스템이 구축되어 있지 않아 독도 전문교사가 부족하고 둘째, 독도교육을 위한 전문교사의 부족은 학년별･학교 급별 연계교육을 어렵게 함으로써 체계적인 독도교육이 실행되지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며 셋째, 이러한 이유로 인해 독도교육이 행사 중심의 일회성 교육으로 진행되는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 문제점을 토대로 발전방향을 제시하면 첫째, 독도교육을 위한 체계화된 전문시스템 구축이 필요하고 둘째, 구축된 독도교육전문시스템을 통해 전문성 있는 교사를 양성해야 하며 셋째, 양성된 전문교사를 통해 독도교육이 진행되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the actual condition of Dokdo Education Week among Dokdo education in Korea and to suggest the direction of development of Dokdo education by deriving problems based on this. The subjects of this study were selected as subjects, objects, contents and methods of Dokdo Education Week in elementary and secondary schools, and the spatial range was limited to Gyeongsangbukdo with the time range being 2019 and 2020., As for methods for searching, literature search methodology and Internet search methodology are used in combination, and as for the method of analysis, the method of descriptive analysis is employed. As a result of the study, the problems of Dokdo education according to the operation status of Dokdo Education Week were as follows: First, there was no professional system for Dokdo education, so there was a shortage of Dokdo teachers. Second, the lack of professional teachers for Dokdo education made it difficult to educate Dokdo by grade and school grade, and third, Dokdo education was conducted as one-time education centered on events. Based on the above problems, the development direction of Dokdo education should be presented first, the systematic Dokdo education professional system should be established, second, the specialized national land teacher (territorial teacher) should be trained through the established Dokdo education professional system, and third, the Dokdo education should be conducted through the trained national land teacher (territorial teacher).
