교사학습공동체를 통한 CIRC 협동학습 프로그램의 효과적 적용방안 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등교사를 대상으로 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’를 위한 교사학습공동체를 조직하여 CIRC 협동학습 프로그램의 효과적 적용방안을 탐색하는데 있다. 그리고 초등교실에 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’를 적용하면서 교사학습공동체에 참여한 교사들의 CIRC 협동학습 프로그램에 대한 인식을 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위해 CIRC 협동학습 프로그램의 순환적 실행연구모형을 도출하고 한 학기에 걸쳐 동료코칭 기반의 교사학습공동체 활동을 진행한 뒤 참여교사들의 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’ 실행계획과 프로그램 실행보고서 그리고 연구참여자가 작성한 관찰일지와 포커스그룹 및 개별 면담자료 등을 수집하여 심층 분석하였다. 연구결과 참여교사들은 성찰측면에서 CIRC 협동학습 프로그램을 교실수업에 적용하며 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’ 수업으로의 전환과 도전을 받고 있었다. 또한 협력측면에서 기초독서, 자율토의, 읽기·쓰기 통합, 읽기·쓰기 평가과정을 실행하며 교사학습공동체 내에서 활발한 상호작용을 이루고 있었다. 결론적으로 CIRC 협동학습 프로그램을 교실수업에 적용할 때 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’ 활동이 교사들의 독서교육 전문성 향상에 의미 있게 기여하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정에서 강조하는 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’ 수업에 대한 교사들의 안목과 시야가 긍정적인 방향으로 확장하고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the effective application of the CIRC collaborative learning programs by organizing a teacher learning community for read one semester for elementary school teachers. This study examines the perceptions of teachers who participated in the teacher learning community about the CIRC collaborative learning program while applying the ‘read one semester’ program in the elementary school classroom. To this end, a cyclical action research model of the CIRC collaborative learning program was derived. After conducting peer coaching-based teacher learning community activities over a semester, participating teachers action plans for the ‘read one semester’, program execution reports, observation diaries, focus groups, and individual interview data prepared by research participants. As a result of the study, the participating teachers applied the CIRC collaborative learning program to their classroom classes in terms of reflection, and were being challenged with the transition to a ‘read one semester’ class. In terms of cooperation, the ‘read one semester’ class was conducted as basic reading, self-discussion, integrated reading and writing, and evaluation of reading and writing, and active interaction within the teacher learning community. In conclusion, it was found that when applying the CIRC collaborative learning program to classroom instruction, the ‘read one semester’ activity significantly contributed to the improvement of teachers reading education professionalism. In addition, it was found that teachers general perspectives and perspective on the ‘read one semester’ class emphasized in the 2015 revised Korean language curriculum are expanding in a positive direction.
