영문 초록

Through the first and the second conflicts of princes, Taejong could be success to assume the reins of government because of his supporters. Taejong, after Jungjong ascended the throne, selected 29 people who helped the first conflict of prince, then made them the meritorious retainer of political affairs. When Taejong ascended the throne, he made 47 people who helped the second conflict of prince the meritorious retainer of the left quantifier. And they became very important political credits during the Taejong Administration. The meritorious retainer of political affairs were constituted clansman and relatives on the mother s side related to the conflicts of princes. That showed the meritorious retainer of the founding of the country was scrupled power. By the way, all of 29 people who were involved didn t give support to Taejong s coming into power. So some of them seceded from this organization. Moreover some of them challenged th Taejong s power. Therefore the member of the first conflict of prince didn t connected with Taejong s power. After the second conflict of prince, the meritorious retainer of the left quantifier were introduced because the meritorious retainer of the founding of the country got weakness. The gentry who opposited or not joined the founding of Choson dynsty, supported actively and prepared a political spring. In Jungjong~Taejong, people who supported the Taejong Administration came to be a very important role of the political power. But all of them didn t agree with each political tendency. They were very various.
