특수학급 교사의 초등학교 6학년 장애학생의 전이기 지원에 대한 중요도와 실행도 인식 분석

국문 초록

장애학생의 초등학교에서 중학교로의 전이는 일반학생이 겪는 신체 및 심리적 변화 외에 물리적으로나 학업적으로 많은 어려움을 갖게 한다. 본 연구는 초등학교 6학년 장애학생의 전이기 지원에 관하여 특수학급 교사들이 인식하는 중요도와 실행도를 분석하여 지원방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 특수학급 교사 95명의 설문지 응답 자료를 교사와 학생의 배경 변인에 따라 계획과 협력 및 실행, 교육과정, 평가의 하위요인별로 차이를 분석하였다. 전이과정 지원에 대한 중요도에서 교사의 총교육경력에 따라 평가 요인과 학생의 장애정도에 따라 교육과정 요인에 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 실행도에서는 교사의 소지자격과 총교육 경력, 학생의 장애정도에 따라 협력 및 실행 요인에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 중요도와 실행도는 모든 하위요인에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 마지막으로 전이기 지원을 위한 프로그램의 개발이 필요하며, 협력의 실제와 교수적합화 등의 내용으로 연수가 이루어져야 할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Students with special needs have much difficulties in both academic and temporal ones besides physical and psychological problems when they transfer elementary school into middle school, compared to the non-disable students. The aim of this study is to analyze special class teachers level of importance and performance on support transition period for 6th-grade elementary school students with special needs and to draw up support plans. The 95 responding questionnaires of special class teachers was analyzed differences by background variables, according to planning, collaboration and implementation, curriculum, and evaluation. In importance to support of transition process, there is significant statistical difference in evaluation according to teachers teaching experience and in curriculum according to disability level of students. Also, in performance to support of transition process, there is significant statistical difference in collaboration and implementation according to qualification level of teachers, teachers teaching experience, disability level of students. Lastly, both importance and performance are statistically significant differences in all of sub-variable. In conclusion, we have to develop program for supporting transition process and to give an in-service system suggesting practice of collaboration and instructional adaptation.
