국문 초록

연구목적: 부모들 스스로 자녀의 의사소통 지원을 위해 결성된 자조모임을 통해 자녀의 특성을 반영한 의사소통 도구제작 및 중재에 필요한 부모교육을 진행하여 부모들의 참여 경험을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이 연구의 참여자는 지체중복장애를 자녀로 둔 어머니 8명이었고, 자조모임별로 2그룹을 구성하여 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 연구결과: 자료는 지속적 비교분석법으로 분석하여 3개의 대범주와 12개의 중범주로 정리할 수 있었다. 지체중복장애학생 부모가 주도적으로 구성하여 운영한 자조모임의 경험과 요구를 살펴봄으로써 부모 자조모임을 통한 변화와 향후 부모의 자녀 지원에 필요한 역량을 갖추기 위한 부모자조모임의 향후 실천에 대한 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다. 결론: 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 부모에게 의사소통에 어려움이 있는 지체중복장애가 있는 자녀를 양육과정에서 자녀의 현행 수준에 적합한 의사소통 중재방법에 대한 정보 제공 및 부모 주도의 적극적인 부모모임 결성 및 참여에 대한 논의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the parental involvement experiences through parents education for the production and intervention of communication tools reflecting the characteristics of their children through self-help groups formed to support their children s communication. Method: Participants in this study were eight mothers of children having brain disorders as primary disorders and intellectual disabilities as duplicate disorders. Two self-help groups were organized to conduct focus group interviews. Results: The data were analyzed by continuous comparative analysis to derive three major categories and 12 major categories. By examining the experiences and needs of self-help groups organized and operated by parents of students with physically disabilities, the implications for change through parents self-help groups, the ability of parents to support their children in the future, and the practices of parent self-help groups were analyzed. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, parents should be informed about the method of communication intervention appropriate to their current communication developmental level in the process of raising children with physically handicapped children who have difficulty in communication, and the formation and participation of parent-centered parent self-help groups.
