초등학교 특수학급 교사간의 관계에 관한 내러티브 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교에서 단일 특수학급이 아닌 2학급 이상의 특수학급을 담당하고 있는 특수교사 4명을 대상으로 교사들 간에 어떤 상호작용을 하는지 내러티브 탐구 방법을 활용하여 살펴보았다. 1년의 특수학급 담당 과정의 흐름에 맞게, 면담, 연구자의 연구일기, 연구 참여자의 반성적 저널, 이메일, 전화 등을 통하여 2학급 이상의 특수학급 체제에서의 교사들이 경험을 수집하였고 이를 토대로 다양한 상호관계를 알아보았다. 연구 결과는 초등학교 특수학급 교사 간의 관계는 크게 협력관계와 갈등관계로 나타났으며, 특히 갈등의 관계가 상대적으로 더 많았다. 이러한 갈등은 업무적인 부분 보다는 인간관계 부분에서 더 많이 발생하고 있어 동료 특수교사간의 상호 인식 및 요구 조절, 특수학급 운영에 관한 명확한 기준 마련 등 이들 교사들 간의 파트너쉽을 강조하는 것이 장애학생의 성공적인 학교 생활을 이루는데 도움이 될 것으로 시사하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to understand what relationships are formed among 4 elementary special class teachers through a narrative study. To match the flow of 1-year course, 10 kinds of themes were selected and experience under a special class systems was collected through interviews, investigators research journals and research participants reflective journals, e-mails, telephone calls, etc., based on which the relationships were investigated. Examination of study results from the study indicated that the relationships among them were largely shown to be cooperative ones and conflicting ones. Considering results of the present study, relationships among special class teachers were largely indicated as those of cooperation and conflict, with relatively more cases of conflict. And particularly, conflicts from the part of interpersonal relationships occurred more frequently than those from the part of tasks. Therefore, in the future with schools and educational institutions, diverse training courses should be prepared at schools and educational institutions for enhancement of mutual interaction capabilities of special teachers as well as for improvement of fixed and distorted recognitions. Most of all, for development of trust and positive relationships through formation of a cooperative partnership among special class teachers so as to share responsibilities and experience, improvement in recognition by special teachers, administrators and parents along with construction of cooperative relationships are needed.
