고령자 재취업의 영향요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

전 세계적으로 고령화는 매우 중요한 사회문제가 되고 있으며 한국 또한 빠른 속도로 고령화가 진행되어 가고 있다. 2021년 현재 우리나라의 인구는 5,182만 명으로, 이 중 65세 이상은 16.5%인 854만 명으로 집계되고 있으며 2050년(1,900만 8천명)까지 급속히 증가하고 이후 2070년(약 1828만 명) 까지 감소세를 보일 전망이다. 급속한 고령화로 인해 65세 이상 고령자는 2025년 20.3%, 2050년 39.8%, 2070년 48.5%가 될 것으로 전망되면서 이에 따른 고령자 관련 정책이 다양하게 요구되고 있다. 고령인구의 증가에 따른 고령자의 재취업실태 및 여러 가지 문제점과 취업알선센터와 다양한 센터를 통한 취업욕구조사를 통하여 고령자의 재취업 활성화 방안에 대하여 모색하고 있긴 하지만 고령자의 취업 결정요인을 분석한 연구는 다양하지 않고 많지 않다. 본 연구는 고령자 패널데이터를 중심으로 다양한 영향요인을 고려하여 중장년층 경제활동 참여 영향력을 분석하였다. 우리나라의 정부와 지방자치단체 차원의 고령자 재취업 정책과 다른 나라의 고령자 재고용정책을 검토하여 고령자를 대상으로 재취업결정요인이 무엇이었는지 결과를 바탕으로 고령자들의 재취업을 위해 고용지원 방안에 대하여 모색하여 실용정인 정책분석을 활용함으로써 추후 고령자 재취업정책의 또 다른 방향성 제시를 위한 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Aging is becoming a very important social problem around the world, and Korea is also rapidly aging. As of 2021, the nation s population was 51.82 million, 16.5% of those aged 65 or older, with a rapid increase to 19.08 million in 2050 and a decline to 2070 (about 18.28 million). Due to the rapid aging, the number of senior citizens aged 65 or older is expected to reach 20.3% in 2025, 39.8% in 2050, and 48.5% in 2070, which requires various policies related to senior citizens. Although it deals with the reemployment status of the elderly due to the increase in the elderly population and various problems and measures to boost employment for the elderly through job placement centers and various centers, there are not many studies analyzing the employment determinants of the elderly. This study analyzed the influence of middle-aged people s participation in economic activities by considering various influential factors, focusing on panel data for older people. Based on the results of the government and local governments reemployment policies and other countries reemployment decisions for the elderly, it is expected to be used as a basic data for research and development to distinguish and expand practical employment policies.
