모택동 체육사상에 나타난 체육관과 준용

국문 초록

중국이 체육을 통한 청년교육을 어떻게 발전시켰으며 현재 어떻게 체육을 통해 국민의 삶을 강화하고 사상을 강화하고 단결을 강화하여 민족의 부강을 실현할 수 있을지에 관한 해답은 중국의 정책을 통한 사람들의 관심을 불러 일으켰느냐는 것에 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 모택동의 체육사상에 나타난 체육관을 근간으로 체육교육사상, 전민건강체육운동사상의 특성과 내용을 살펴봄으로 중국 사회 실천에서 모택동의 체육관이 어떻게 준용(準用)되었는지를 고찰하는데 있다. 모택동 체육교육사상은 그의 교육사상 구성의 중심적인 한 부분으로 중국 청소년들의 심신 발전 뿐 만 아니라 지속적인 중국 체육교육 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 미치게 되었다. 모택동은 체육운동의 추진을 중국국민의 해방 사업과 사회주의 건설 사업에 접목하였으며 이후 그의 체육관을 담은 전민건강체육운동사상을 형성하게 되었는데 사회 전반으로 추진한 전민건강체육운동은 그의 체육사상인‘건신 강국’의 집중적인 구현이라 말할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the characteristics and contents of the ideology of physical education, and those of sports ideology for national health promotion, based on the perspective of physical education contained in Mao Zedong s sports ideology, and determine how Mao s perspective regarding physical education was applied in the practice of Chinese society. Mao s ideology concerning physical education was a part of his educational ideology, and it had a positive influence not only on the mental and physical development of Chinese youth, but also on the continuous development of national physical education. Mao combined the promotion of physical education activities with the liberation project of the Chinese people and the socialist construction project, and then devised the sports ideology for national health promotion that reflected his views on physical education. The sports activities for national health promotion can be said to be an intensive realization of his sports ideology, “a powerful nation in which the people are healthy.”
