여성 해방공간으로서의 헤테로토피아 몸

국문 초록

여성시에 나타나는 반장소로서의 몸은 여성의 경험적 실존에 의한 공간적 의식이다. 남성의 해석과 판단에 따른 공간적 질서가 여성을 억압하고 통제하는 요인으로 작용했음을 보여주는 이것은 헤테로토피아 관점에서 중요하다. 여성 해방공간으로서 헤테로토피아 몸은 시에서 다음과 같은 양상으로 나타난다. 첫째, 남성이 식민화한 여성의 몸을 거부하고 일탈하려는 장소로서의 몸이다. 이것은 가부장제 사회에서 지형화된 여성 몸이 남성 취향의 헤테로토피아로 작동되어 온 것에 대한 이의제기이다. 이것은 시에서 남성 취향에 맞는 몸의 감각을 거부하는 후각적 마녀화와 모성적 몸을 거부하는 자궁의 생체기술화로 나타난다. 신성의 장소에서 금기의 장소로 공간적 일탈을 꾀하는 이런 몸들은 남성의 공간적 질서로부터 해방되려는 일탈의 헤테로토피아 원리이다. 둘째, 양립 불가능한 공간에 남성과 여성을 배치하여 이분법적인 성을 무화하는 장소로서의 몸이다. 이것은 남성의 해석과 판단에 따른 공간의 이분법적인 질서가 차별화된 성의 실존성을 만든 것에 대한 이의제기이다. 이것은 시에서 생물학적으로 한 몸 안에 양립할 수 없는 남성과 여성이 공존하거나 몸의 기능이 전도되는 것으로 나타난다. 성적 경계를 뛰어넘는 공간적 질서로 재의미화하려는 이런 몸들은 성적 평등을 갈망하는 환상의 헤테로토피아의 원리이다. 셋째, 시·공간을 이질화하면서 세계를 전환시켜 젠더 해방을 하는 장소로서의 몸이다. 이것은 공간의 젠더 특수성이 남성이 주도 만든 ‘관계적 공간’인 것에 대한 이의제기이다. 시에서 몸과 기계와의 접속이나 귀신과의 접신을 통한 공간의 전환으로 나타난다. 시·공간의 이질화를 통해 다른 세계로의 전환하면서 젠더 해방을 꿈꾸는 몸은 열림과 닫힘의 체계를 갖는 헤테로토피아의 원리이다. 이러한 양상은 헤테로토피아 관점에서도 남성 주도적인 공간적 질서가 여성의 몸과 실존성을 억압하고 통제하는 수단이 되어 왔음을 확인해준다. 때문에 이것은 불안한 여성의 경험적 현실의 이정표며 심리적 치유의 메커니즘이다. 동시에 여성들만의 의지로 새로운 세계와 존재의 자리를 정립하고자 하는 공간적 위상학이다.

영문 초록

Body as an anti-space in women s poetry is the spatial awareness based on women s empirical existence. This, manifesting that the spatial order based on men s interpretation and judgment works as a factor that suppresses and restricts women, is critical in the perspective of Heterotopia. Heterotopia body as a woman s liberation space is portrayed as follows in poetry: First, it is the body as a space of denial and deviation from a woman s body colonized by men. This is an objection to the fact that women s bodies defined in the paternal society has been recognized as men-centered Heterotopia and represents the Heterotopia of deviation to be liberated from men s spatial order. Second, it is the body as a space that nullifies the dualistic sex by arranging a man and a woman in a space where there cannot coexist. This is an objection to the fact that the dualistic order of space based on men s interpretation and judgment has formed the distinguished existentiality of sex and the Heterotopia of fantasy desiring sexual equality. Third, it is the body as a space of heterogeneous time and space that shifts the world for gender liberation. This is an objection to the relational space where the gender-specific characters of space has been created by men and the Heterotopia with a system of opening and closing dreaming for gender liberation. These trends confirm the fact that men-directed spatial order has been used to suppress and restrict women s bodies and existentiality from the perspective of Heterotopia. For that reason, this is the milestone of the empirical reality of women in anxiety and the mechanism of psychological remedy. At the same time, it is the spatial topology to establish a new world and existence with nothing but women s own willpower.
