한국 차문화 활성화를 위한 중국 다관(茶館) 연구

국문 초록

한국인들의 일상에서 소통 및 친밀감 확보를 위한 도구로 술자리가 흔히 통용되고 있다. 술자리는 한국인 특유의 술문화를 만들었고, 이는 한국인들의 비즈니스 및 일상에 영향을 미치고 있다. 연구자는 이러한 한국인의 일상에 차문화가 도입되고 활성화된다면, 또 다른 한국적 가치 및 문화의 풍요로움을 가져올 것이라 기대한다. 음다문화가 일상화되어 있으며, 차문화의 본거지라 할 만한 중국의 경우, 다관(茶館)이라는 차문화 공간이 존재하고 있다. 다관의 기원은 위진남북조시대(AD211~AD589)로 보며, 이 후 다관의 발전은 시간적 · 공간적 특수성을 가지고 이루어졌다. 이 글에서는 시간적으로는 다관의 기원 및 다관문화가 흥성했던 역사를 살펴보고, 공간적으로는 근 · 현대 다관의 지역별 특성을 다루었다. 특히 정치 · 사회 · 문화의 중심지인 북경지역의 다관과 다관 고유의 특성이 잘 드러난 사천지역의 다관을 살펴보았다. 북경 지역 다관의 경우 사회 · 문화적 공간으로서 다관이 활용되었다면, 사천 지역 다관의 경우 차문화의 고유함이 일상에 녹아들었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 후 북경 지역 다관과 사천 지역 다관의 실제 사례를 살펴보았다. 실제 사례를 살펴보는 데에는 연구자가 직접 방문하거나, 사이망(internet) 홈페이지 등을 활용하였다. 중국의 다관 역시 과거의 다관을 현대화하여 차문화를 발전시키고 있으며, 관광 명소 등으로 활용하고 있다. 한국 역시 중국의 다관을 벤치마킹하여 차문화를 도입할 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 소수 매니아를 위한 차문화 공간이 아닌 일상인의 차원에서 차문화 공간을 기획하려면, 한국적 차문화 공간에 대한 역사적 이해와 지역별 특성을 고려해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The drinking party is in common use as a tool to understand and have an intimate feeling among Koreans. The drinking party makes a peculiar alcoholic beverage culture of Korean, and it affects to the business and ordinary life of Koreans. Instead, I would like to suggest introducing the Tea Culture to the ordinary of life of Korean. In my view, if this Tea Culture is becoming popular, it will bring a new gathering culture of Koreans, as much as the drinking party, but with the new angle, In the case of China, the home of Tea, where the Tea Culture is natural in the ordinary life of people, there has been a physical space called Da-Guan(Tea House) . It seems that the origin of Da-Guan can be seen in the Northern and Southern Dynasty (A.D.211 ∼ A.D.589), and the development of it is accomplished with a spatio-temporal peculiarity. In this article, we will see the origin and the history of Da-Guan in the temporal sense, and the modern and recent regional features in the spatial sense, especially, Beijing which is a central place of Chinese politics, society, and culture, and Szuchuan which has a certain regional peculiarity of Da-Guan. The Beijing Da-Guan is used as a socio-cultural place, whereas the Szuchuan Da-Guan is used as a place where the people s real ordinary life is embedded. The both cities show many real examples of Da-Guan. In order to this, I visited some places of China and internet websites of Da-Guan. I find that Chinese Da-Guan has been developed with the modernization of the past Da-Guan, and is used as a historical tourist attraction as well. It seems that The Tea Culture of Korea could be popularized under the benchmark of Chinese Da-Guan. However, it is to be considered the historical and regional understandings of the Korean Tea Culture space, if one plans to build a cultual space for the ordinary Korean people.
