국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 창의적 음악을 연계한 그림책 활동의 공감능력, 자기표현 및 리더십에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 이러한 효과를 알아보기 위해 만 5세 유아 50명(실험집단 25명, 비교집단 25명)의 집단을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였으며, 그 효과성을 검증하였다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의적 음악을 연계한 그림책 활동이 공감능력에 미치는 효과를 살펴본 결과, 실험집단에서의 결과가 비교집단에 비해 공감능력이 유의미하게 높게 나타났으며 둘째, 창의적 음악을 연계한 그림책 활동이 자기표현의 수행능력에 미치는 효과를 살펴본 결과, 실험집단이 비교집단에 비해 자기표현이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 창의적 음악을 연계한 그림책 활동이 리더십에 미치는 효과를 알아본 결과로 실험집단이 비교집단에 비해 리더십에서 의미 있는 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과, 창의적 음악을 연계한 그림책 활동은 유아의 정서 및 사회적 성장을 이끌고 이를 바탕으로 미래 사회가 요구하는 시민으로써 갖추어야 할 창의적 태도와 능력을 기를 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구의 결과는 창의적 소양과 교육현장을 연계한 활동이 유아교육 프로그램의 의미있는 교육적 성과를 마련하는데 요구되는 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있겠다.

영문 초록

This study verified the effects of picture book activities linked to young children s creative music on empathy, self-expression, and leadership. This study was conducted on 50 children aged 5 years (25 in the experimental group and 25 in the comparative group), and the main results are as follows. First, as a result of examining the effect of picture book activities linked to creative music on empathy, the experimental group showed significantly higher empathy than the comparative group. Second, as a result of examining the effect of picture book activities linked to creative music on self-expression, the experimental group showed significantly higher self-expression than the comparative group. Third, as a result of examining the effect of picture book activities linked to creative music on leadership, the experimental group showed significantly higher leadership than the comparative group. As a result of this study, it was confirmed that children s empathy, self-expression, and leadership were improved in picture book activities linked to creative music. The results of this study will be meaningful in that they provided implications required to prepare various educational outcomes of early childhood education programs required in Korean society through the linkage of creative music and picture book activities.
