대학의 역량기반 교육과정 질 관리를 위한 요소 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 역량기반 교육과정의 질을 관리하기 위한 주요 요소를 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학부(학과, 전공) 소속으로 실제 교육과정 개발 및 평가를 경험한 교원 75명을 대상으로 요구분석을 실시하였고, 설문기법을 통한 교원 요구의 우선순위를 보다 타당하게 결정하기 위하여 t 검정, Borich 요구도 분석, The Locus for Focus 모델을 순차적으로 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대학 교원들은 대학 역량기반 교육과정 질 관리에 다음의 8개 요소에 대한 요구가 높은 것으로 나타났다. (1) 기업 및 산업체가 요구하는 전문역량에 대한 의견수렴, (2) 학과 관련 분야의 직무역량에 대한 의견수렴, (3) 기업 및 산업체에서 요구되는 핵심역량에 대한 의견수렴, (4) 요구분석을 반영한 학과의 교육목표 수립, (5) 요구분석을 반영한 학과의 교육과정의 비전 수립, (6) 요구분석을 반영한 직무역량 설정, (7) 직무역량에 따른 전공역량 도출, (8) 학년별 교육과정 로드맵 구성이 그것이다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 주요 요소들은 공통적으로 교육과정 개편 내용과 연계되어 있으며, 역량기반 교육과정의 질 관리를 위해서는 학부(학과, 전공) 교육과정 개발 과정이 매우 중요한 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 향후 대학 역량기반 교육과정 개발을 준비하고 있는 대학 및 교수자를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the major factors for quality management of competence-based education. The research was conducted on 75 professors and their assessment items derived from prior studies. As a result, the eight evaluation factors were derived from Importance-Performance analysis(IPA), Borich Needs Assessment model, and the Locus for Focus model. The conclusion obtained in the study is that the professors have a high demand for 8-factors for quality management of competency-based curriculum in higher education. (1) First, by gathering opinions on the expertise required by companies and industries, (2) second, collecting opinions on job competency in department-related fields; (3) third, collecting opinions on core competencies required by companies and industries. (4) Fourth, establishing the educational objectives reflected needs analysis for departments, (5) fifth, establishing the vision reflecting the educational goals of the department. (6) Deriving the job competency reflected needs analysis, (7) Deriving the major competency based on the job competency, and, lastly, (8) by organizing a curriculum roadmap for each grade. The results of this study derived that the key factors for quality management are commonly linked to the curriculum reorganization and the undergraduate curriculum development process is important for quality management of competency-based curriculum. Based on these findings, this research was intended to provide basic data for undergraduates and professors preparing to develop competency-based curriculum in the future.
