집단 효능감과 주민주도형 마을공동체 활성화

국문 초록

이 논문은 제주지역에서 추진하여 왔던 마을 만들기의 성공적 사례를 찾기 어렵다는 문제 인식하에 집단 효능감 개념과 제주올레 활용을 통해 주민주도형 마을공동체 활성화 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로 질문지 면접조사를 하였으며, 조사대상은 3개 마을 올레 탐방객과 지역주민들이었다. 논문에서는 올레탐방객과 지역주민의 제주올레에 대한 인식, 마을공동체 활성화에 대한 올레 역할, 집단 효능감 수준에 따른 마을 공동체 활성화 내용(삶터 만들기, 주민공동체 만들기, 인재 육성)을 분석하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 주민주도형 마을공동체 활성화 방안을 위한 정책적 제언으로 지역주민의 집단 효능감을 높이기 위한 프로그램 개발·운영, 제주올레를 이용한 마을공동체 활성화 방안에 대한 지역주민간 자발적인 논의의 필요성, 숙박시설·체험프로그램 개발 및 지역생산품 판매 전략 등 올레탐방객이 선호하는 컨텐츠를 활용한 마을공동체 사업 모색, 인재육성과 주민공동체 만들기에 대한 주민간 인식 격차 해소 등을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to seek some directions to vitalize residents` initiative community in terms of collective efficacy and the utilization of Jeju Olle. This study is based on the survey data with samples tatalled to 402 persons who participated in this research. They are composed of 302 residents and 100 visitors. The results of the research are as follows: First, the concept of collective efficacy is very important in finding directions to vitalize communities theoretically and empirically. Second, the residents with high degree of collective efficacy think that Jeju olle could have a positive effect on village development. Third, the village development based on residents` initiatives canbe composed of making life space(economic factor), making residents` community(social capital factor) and cultivation talented personnel(organizational factor). It is shown that the higher residents are in collective efficacy, the more positive their consciousness is in these factors. Finally, it is required that programs should be developed and operated to improve collective efficacy as it operates significantly in community vitalization.
