교육원가정보를 활용한 학과별 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교육원가정보를 활용한 사립대학의 학과별 구조조정을 위한 의사결정에 이용가능한 객관적이고 효율적인 분석방법을 M대학의 사례를 통해 제안하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성을 위해 M대학의 2015년도 교육원가정보와 산출정보를 활용하여 학과별 교육원가와 재정공헌도를 산정한다. 다음으로는 교육원가정보에 투입 및 산출지표를 추가하여 상대적 효율성분석을 실시한다. 먼저 학과별 교육원가와 재정공헌도를 산정하고 순위분포도에 따른 구조조정전략을 제시하였다. 다음으로 학과별 효율성 분석결과, 전체 48개의 학과 중에서 효율성이 1인 학과가 CCR기준의 경우에는 12개(25.0%), BCC 기준의 경우에는 15개(31.3%)인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 준거집단으로는 D14학과, D19학과, D20학과, D44학과 등인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실제 M대학의 교육원가정보을 사용하여 교육원가와 재정공헌도의 순위분포도를 활용한 학과별 구조조정 전략과 DEA 분석을 통해 학과별 상대적인 효율성을 확인 및 비교하였다는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구에서 활용된 방법들은 구조조정 위기의 직면한 사립대학에게 객관적이고 효율적인 방법으로 의사결정에 도움을 주고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose an objective and efficient analysis method usable for decision making on the restructuring of each department using education cost information through a case of M University. To achieve the purpose, this study calculated each department’s education cost and financial contribution using education cost information and calculation information of M University in 2015. A relative efficiency analysis was conducted by adding input and calculation indices to the education cost information. This study calculated the education cost and financial contribution of each department, and presented a restructuring strategy according to ranking distribution. As a result of a DEA efficiency analysis by department, the departments having one point in efficiency among 48 departments in total were 12 (25.00%) based on CCR, and 15 (31.13%) based on BCC. The reference groups were D14, D19, D20, and D44 departments. This study has a significance in that each department’s restructuring strategy using the ranking distribution of education cost and financial contribution through M University’s education cost information and each department’s relative efficiency were checked and compared with through the DEA analysis. The methods used in this study are expected to be helpful to decision making with objective and efficient methods for private universities facing restructuring crisis.
