국문 초록

최근 언론을 통해 데이트 폭력에 대한 흉악하고 잔인한 충격적인 사례들이 보도되면서 대중에게 심각한 문제로 인식되고 우리사회의 민감한 사회문제로 떠오르게 되었다. 데이트폭력은 처음에는 사소한 문제로 발생하며 이를 사랑이라는 이유로 방치를 함으로써 더욱더 잔혹한 형태로 진화하게 된다. 경찰청 자료에 의하면 데이트폭력은 2017년에 1만 4136건이 발생하였으며, 2018년에는 1만 8671건이 발생하여 매년 증가세를 보이고 있다. 데이트폭력의 심각성 및 사회적 문제 등으로 인해 데이트폭력에 대한 연구는 활발히 진행되고 있으나, 데이트폭력의 발생요인을 세분화하여 수행한 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구는 데이트폭력의 발생요인을 실증적으로 검증하고자 한다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구와 실증분석을 병행하였으며, 국내외 데이트폭력 관련 선행연구를 검토하여 독립변수는 부모폭력 목격, 부모학대, 학교폭력의 피해 및 가해, 이성관계의 집착으로 구성하였다. 종속변수는 데이트폭력의 정서적 폭력, 신체적 폭력, 성적 폭력으로 구분하였다. 이 연구에서 활용한 자료는 부산 소재 4년제 대학의 재학생을 대상으로 2020년 6월 한달 동안 설문을 실시하였다. 총 526부가 수집되었으며, 이 중 응답 누락, 불성실한 답변 등 13부를 제외하고 총 513부의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 연구결과, 정서적 폭력에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 부모폭력 목격과 부모학대 그리고 학교폭력 피해, 이성관계 집착으로 나타났다. 신체적 폭력에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 부모폭력 목격과 부모학대, 학교폭력 피해, 이성관계 집착으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 성적 폭력에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 부모폭력 목격, 부모학대, 이성관계 집착으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 데이트폭력의 발생을 제고할 수 있는 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Recently, as the media reported vicious and cruel shocking cases of dating violence, it was recognized as a serious problem by the public and emerged as a sensitive social problem in our society. At first, dating violence occurs as a trivial problem, and by neglecting it for love, it evolves into a more cruel form. According to data from the National Police Agency, 14136 cases of dating violence occurred in 2017, and 18,671 cases occurred in 2018, increasing every year. Due to the seriousness of dating violence and social problems, studies on dating violence are being actively conducted, but studies conducted by subdividing the causes of dating violence are inadequate. Therefore, this study attempts to empirically verify the causes of dating violence. To achieve the purpose of this study, literature research and empirical analysis were conducted in parallel, and by reviewing previous studies related to dating violence at home and abroad, the independent variables consisted of witnessing parental violence, parental abuse, damage and persecution of school violence, and obsession with opposite sex. The dependent variable was classified into emotional violence, physical violence, and sexual violence of dating violence. The data used in this study were surveyed for one month in June 2020 targeting students of a four-year university in Busan. A total of 526 copies were collected, and a total of 513 copies of the data were used for the final analysis, excluding 13 copies such as omissions and unscrupulous answers. As a result of the study, the factors influencing emotional violence were witnessing parental violence, parental abuse, school violence, and obsession with heterosexual relationships. Factors influencing physicall violence were witnessing parental violence, parental abuse, school violence, and obsession with opposite sex. Finally, the factors affecting sexual violence were witnessing parental violence, parental abuse, and obsession with opposite sex. Based on the results of the study, policy suggestions to increase the occurrence of dating violence were presented.
