국어 교사의 쓰기경험과 쓰기수업 및 교육에 대한 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 국어 교사의 개인적인 쓰기경험과, 교사로서 쓰기수업 상황에서 겪었던 경험과 인식에 기술적으로 접근한 사례연구이다. 연구 참여자들은 초·중·고등학교 국어 교사 5명이며, 이들과의 심층인터뷰 내용을 패러다임 모형에 적용하여 그 양상을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 국어 교사들은 ‘쓰기수업 부재’라는 중심현상을 경험하고 있었다. 인과적 조건으로 개인적 쓰기경험 및 자신감 부족과 교사양성과정에서 체계적인 쓰기지도 미흡을 꼽고 있었다. 관련된 맥락적 조건으로는 성적?입시에 대한 과중한 부담감과 학생의 쓰기지식 부족과 무관심 등을 꼽았다. 이로 인해 쓰기교사로서 역할에 대한 자각을 겪거나, 쓰기수업 전문성 부족에 대한 자신감 결여가 중재적 양상으로 두드러졌다. 이후에 쓰기수업 부재에 따른 작용 및 상호작용의 대응 결과, 쓰기수업에 대한 재개념화는 교사들의 쓰기에 대한 긍정적 인식과 수업실행의 자신감으로 이어졌다. 반면 자신의 쓰기수업에 무성의했거나 학생에 대해 방관으로 일관했던 경우에는, 쓰기수업 현실에 대해 외면하는 경우가 잦았고 내적 갈등 또한 지속되는 양상을 보였다.

영문 초록

This is case study research on the experience of a Korean language teacher focusing on writing. The study participants are 5 teachers of Korean in primary, middle, high schools, by applying the aspect to a paradigm shape in the content of in-depth interviews. As a result, teachers of Korean are experiencing central phenomenon-“absence of writing instruction.” As a casual condition, individual writing experience as well as lack of confidence in teachers preparation for courses show the methodical insufficiency of writing instruction. Related contextual conditions accounted for a heavy burden, lack of students’ writing knowledge, and indifference about grades and entrance examinations. From this, the lack of self-confidence stood out as intervening in respect of the lack of writing class professionalism. As a result of the absence of writing class and interaction, a reconceptualization of writing class maintained that positive awareness and the teachers confidence in his/her own writing performance is critical. On the other hand, the cases that assumed students had an indifferent attitude, showing insincerity on their(teachers) own writing class, were shown to be an aspect of inner conflict and indifference about the reality of writing class.
