국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학 글쓰기 수업의 교육과정이 학문적 소통의 과정으로서 글쓰기 지식 수용, 글쓰기 지식 적용, 쓰기 글을 통한 학문적 소통, 글쓰기 텍스트 자기 수정 및 평가의 순환적 활동으로 이루어져야 함을 주장한다. 특히 학문을 위한 기초 소양으로서의 교양 글쓰기 교육 과정이 학습자의 주체적인 글쓰기 경험과 지식 구성을 교육 내용으로 제시해야 함을 강조하였다. 이와 관련하여 본 논의에서는 교양 글쓰기 교육이 사회적, 맥락적 글쓰기 능력의 제고에 중심을 둔 교수 방안을 논의의 중심으로 하여 교육 과정에서 학습자의 쓰기 활동과 관련하여 자기 수정은 물론 동료 학습자의 평가 과정이 구체적으로 구성되어야 함을 논의하였다. 이를 위해 사회적 구성주의의 관점에서 쓰기 활동에 관련해서는 ‘학습도구로서의 언어활동’인 ‘협력학습’을 중심으로 논의를 전개하였다. 이는 학습자 중심의 쓰기 지식을 제고하고 이러한 쓰기 지식의 자율적 적용 과정을 통해 담화 소통 사회의 맥락적 글쓰기 지식을 구축하는 과정 중심 글쓰기 교육이 가능함을 제시하고자 함이다. 그리고 교육 내용으로는 대학 글쓰기에 필요한 쓰기 지식을 중심으로 학문 목적 텍스트의 구성 지식을 교육하는 과정을 학습자의 토론과 협의를 통한 쓰기 지식 구성 과정으로 나누어 논의하였다. 이러한 논의를 통해 쓰기 학습자와 동료 학습자가 평가의 주체가 되어 평가 기준과 평가 내용을 논의하는 과정 속에서 글쓰기에 필요한 지식이 생성되는 것이 글쓰기 교육의 핵심이 되어야 함을 강조하고자 했다.

영문 초록

In this study, we proposed that the curriculum for writing class in the university should be prepared with a series of cyclic activities including acceptance and application of writing knowledge, academic communication by writing articles, and self-correction and evaluation on the writing text as the process of academic communication. We emphasized especially, that cultural writing course as the basic element for the study should be prepared with the proactive writing experiences and knowledge organization of the students. In this regard, focusing on the teaching method discussion highlighting cultural writing course to improve the social and contextual writing skill, we discussed in this article that the course should be prepared with self-corrective ways related to the writing practices of the students as well as the process of peer student evaluation in detail. To do so, the discussion was continued focusing on Peer Assistant Learning, which was the language practice as the learning tool, for the writing practice in view of Social Constructionism. This is to suggest that process-oriented writing education is possible to improve students’ writing skill and to develop the contextual writing knowledge in the discourse communication society by self-application process of this writing skill. In addition, we discussed the organization process of writing knowledge separately by students’ discussions and agreements for the education course of structured knowledge on the academic purpose text with respect to the education contents. From this discussion process, we emphasized that focusing on writing education should be to generate the knowledge required for writing in the process of discussion on the evaluation parameters and contents with the initiatives of the students and their peers.
