세계 전통놀이를 활용한 다문화수업이 초등학생의 다문화 감수성에 미치는 효과분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 세계 전통놀이를 활용한 다문화수업이 초등학생들의 다문화 감수성에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 문헌, 연구보고서 등을 바탕으로 문헌고찰을 하였고, 이를 토대로 다문화수업 지도안을 개발하여, 광주광역시 소재한 H지역아동센터 초등학교 4∼6학년 학생을 대상으로 적용하였다. 18차시 수업 지도안을 개발하였으며, 수업 주제는 ‘날아라 수퍼보드’, ‘가위바위보’, ‘너, 떨고 있니?’, ‘하늘 높이 뛰어보자!’, ‘지붕 뚫고 바나나킥’, ‘발∼로차, 발∼로차’, ‘날∼잡아봐라’, ‘뛰어보자 폴∼짝’으로 구성하였다. 수업 적용 전후 다문화 감수성의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 양적 연구는 수업 적용 전과 수업 적용 후에 다문화 감수성 설문지를 통해 결과를 분석하였고, 질적 연구는 수업 관련 활동지 작성, 수업 태도 및 행동 등을 관찰하여 결과를 분석하였다. 또한 수업 적용 후 수업 만족도를 조사하였다. 수업 적용 전후 다문화 감수성을 분석한 결과, 수업 적용 전에 비해 수업 적용 후 다문화 감수성이 유의적으로 증가하였으며, 다문화 감수성 하위요인인 상호작용 참여도, 문화차이 존중도, 상호작용 자신도, 상호작용 향유도, 상호작용 주의도 등도 유의적으로 증가하였다. 수업 적용 후 수업 만족도를 조사한 결과 가장 만족도가 높은 수업은 ‘지붕 뚫고 바나나킥’, ‘가위바위보’, ‘하늘 높이 뛰어보자!’, ‘뛰어보자 폴∼짝’순이었다. 또한 수업시간에 체험한 전통놀이 이외의 다양한 문화의 전통놀이를 체험해보고 싶다고 하였다. 전통놀이를 활용한 다문화수업은 전통놀이라는 도구를 통해 서로 다른 나라의 문화와 정서를 느껴보면서 선입견과 편견을 없애고 다양한 문화를 수용하고 존중하는 태도를 길러주고, 또한 다른 나라 전통놀이를 직접 체험하는 과정에서 다른 문화에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 길러줄 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 세계 전통놀이를 통한 다문화수업이 다문화 감수성 함양에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 다문화교육에 세계 전통놀이를 활용하는 기초 연구가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted as a multicultural class to investigate how cultural experiences in various countries around the world through traditional play affect the development of multicultural sensitivity of elementary school students. To this end, literature review was conducted based on related literature, research reports, and thesis, and based on this, a multicultural instructional plan was developed 18 times. The developed lesson plan was applied to students in the 4th to 6th grade elementary schools at the H Regional Children s Center located in Nam-gu, Gwangju. Quantitative and qualitative research was conducted to examine the changes in multicultural sensitivity before and after applying the class. Quantitative research analyzed the results of the multicultural sensitivity questionnaire before and after class application, and qualitative research analyzed the results by observing the preparation of class-related activity sheets, class attitudes, and behaviors. For multicultural classes, fly at 3-4 times Superboard, at 5-6 times rock-paper-scissors, at 7-8 hours Are you shivering? It was composed of Pole-Pair, let s take the time from 17 to 18. As a result of analyzing multicultural sensitivities before and after class in order to find out the effect of multicultural lessons through traditional play, multicultural sensibility was significantly improved through multicultural lessons. Degree, interaction induction, and interaction caution also showed positive changes. As a result of surveying class satisfaction after class, interest in Africa was higher than in other countries. The reason for this is that African traditional play has many similarities to Korean traditional play, which is thought to give children friendliness. In addition, it was found that it was effective in cultivating multicultural sensitivity through traditional play by responding that they would like to play traditional play in countries other than the countries experienced in class. As an educational tool for cultivating multicultural sensitivity, we expect that research using various play cultures besides traditional play will be actively conducted.
