초등학생의 자아개념과 진로 자기효능감의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 성별 및 학년에 따른 초등학생의 자아개념과 진로 자기효능감을 분석하고 두 변인 간의 관계를 구명하는데 있다. 전국 17개 시·도 지역 중 5개 지역(인천, 대전, 세종, 충북, 충남)의 초등학교 5~6학년 학생 454명을 임의로 표집하였다. 본 연구에 활용된 설문지의 통계처리는 SPSS 21 프로그램을 활용하였다. 통계방법은 t-test, F-test, 피어슨의 상관관계분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 성별과 학년에 따라 자아개념과 진로 자기효능감은 유의미한 차이를 보이며, 초등학생의 자아개념과 진로 자기효능감은 정적인 상관관계가 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 초등학생의 진로 자기효능감을 높이기 위해서는 진로 교육에서 긍정적인 자아개념 형성을 돕는 프로그램을 도입할 필요가 있다. 나아가 현재 초등학생의 진로 자기효능감 측정 도구에 관한 연구가 미비하므로 이와 관련된 연구가 더욱 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to analyze the self-concept and career self-efficacy of elementary school students according to gender and grade and to explore the relationship between two variables. The objects of study were 454 elementary school students (5th to 6th grade) from 5 out of 17 cities and provinces nationwide (Incheon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungbuk, and Chungnam) were randomly selected and surveyed. For data processing, SPSS 21 was used to analyze statistical results and t-test, F-test, Pearson’s correlation analysis, etc. were performed at p<.05. The results from this study were self-concepts and career self-efficacy indicate a significant depending on gender and grade. Also, elementary school student’s self-concepts and career self-efficacy denoted static correlation. As a result of this study, there was a significant difference between self-concept and career self-efficacy depending on gender and grade. And self-concepts and career self-efficacy of elementary school student had a static correlation. Based on the results of this study, In order to enhance the career self-efficacy of elementary school students, it is necessary to adopt a program to help them form positive self-concepts in career education. In addition, Currently, there is a lack of research on the tools for measuring career self-efficacy of elementary school students, so more research is required.
