국문 초록

동아대학교 박물관 소장 ‘傳 안동’ 출토 당식 대장식구는 발굴조사로 얻어진 자료는 아니지만 한 벌의 대장식구 일괄로 판단되며, 고분에서 출토되었을 가능성이 매우 클 것으로 생각된다. 이 당식 대장식구는 교구와 방형과판 4점, 반원형과판 7점, 수하부장식구와 환형(環形)장식구로 구성되어 있다. 재질은 청동, 제작기법은 주조이며 교구의 교판만은 철로 제작되었다. 특히 수하부장식구의 존재가 주목되는데, 한반도에 도입되고 확산된 당식 대장식구에도 수하식이 존재했을 가능성을 뒷받침하는 사례로서 의미가 크다. 한편 중국에서의 당식 대장식구 변천과정과 견주어 본다면 이 당식 대장식구의 연대는 8세기 전반으로 비정될 수 있다. 이로써 기왕에 발굴조사로 확인된 당식 대장식구의 사례들과 더불어 7세기 후반~8세기 초 신라의 경북 북부지역에 대한 지배양상을 엿볼 수 있는 자료로 평가할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The Tang-style metal belts, now being preserved in the Museum of Dong-A University, were handed down from Andong Province, and although they were not found in any particular excavation site, they are believed to be a partial batch that comes from a bigger set, and it is highly likely that they originated in an ancient tomb. These metal belts are composed of brackets, four pieces of square ornaments, seven pieces of semi-circular ornaments, hanging and dangling ornaments, and round-shaped ornaments. The material they are made from is cast bronze, with the exception of the brackets planks, which are made of iron. The hanging and dangling ornaments are especially noteworthy because they constitute significant evidence of the possibility that the Tang-style metal belts that were spread throughout the Korean peninsula upon being introduced also had hanging ornaments. On another note, upon observing the transformation of the Tang-style metal belts in China, the belts now kept in the Museum of Dong-A University can be estimated to be from circa the eighth century. with this as well as the previously excavated Province are supporting materials that give us a glimpse of the governing aspects of the early Silla Dynasty from the late seventh century to the early eighth century in the northern region of Gyeongbuk.
