국문 초록

양태 표현이란 명제에 대한 화자의 태도이다. 한국어 양태 표현에서는 화자의 심리적인 태도와 더불어 화용적 측면의 이해가 동반되어야 실제 언어생활을 정확하게 유지할 수 있다. 고급 한국어 학습자라도 의사소통을 할 때 맥락의 상황에 맞게 정확히 이해하면서 적절한 의사 표현을 한다는 것이 쉽지 않은 경우가 많다. 이는 실제 담화 상황에서 복잡한 문법 구성 형식으로 양태의 미세한 차이로 제안, 추측, 거절, 요청과 같은 다양한 화용적 기능을 수행해야 하기 때문이다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 통하여 한국어 양태 표현의 양상들을 살펴볼 것이다. 특히 한국어를 제2 언어로 연구한 연구자들이 자신의 모국어와 한국어를 대조 연구하여 한국어에서 양태 표현을 분명하게 이해하지 못한 이유를 고찰한 내용을 분석하였다. 그리고 양태 표현의 특징을 살펴서 각 언어 형태가 지시하는 양태 의미를 구분하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같다. 외국인 학습자가 한국어 양태 표현을 적절하게 구분 또는 활용할 수 있도록 효과적인 교수-학습을 위한 방법을 고찰하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Modality expression is the speaker’s attitude toward the proposition. In korean modality expression it is necessary to accompany the psychological attitude of speaker and understanding of the pragmatic aspect to maintain accurately the actual language. Even for advanced korean language learners, it is often not easy to communicate properly and understand the context properly. This is because a complex grammatical structure in the actual discourse situation is required to perform various pragmatic functions such as a request for limited guess rejection due to minute differences in aspects. This study will examine aspects of koran language pragmatic expression through prior studies. In particular, researchers who have studied Korean as 2nd language will be able to find out why they did not cleary understand the mode expression in korean language through a comparative study of their native language and Korean. And by analyzing the features of the mode expression, I will analyze the meaning of the mode indicted by each mode language type. The purpose of this study is as follows. The purpose of this study is to consider methods for effective teaching-learning methods so that foreign learners can properly distinguish or utilize the Korean modality expressions.
