청소년의 우울이 SNS 중독에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 스마트폰의 높은 보급률과 함께 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 청소년의 SNS 중독을 살펴본 연구로 청소년의 우울이 SNS 중독에 미치는 영향과 이 관계에서 교우관계의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 고등학생 373명이였으며, 성별분포는 남학생이 167명, 여학생이 206명이였다. 상관관계 분석 결과 SNS 중독과 우울 간에 정(+)적 상관관계를 보였고, 교우관계는 SNS 중독, 우울 모두에서 부(-)적 상관관계 나타냈다. 교우관계의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 실시한 위계적 회귀분석에서는 우울이 높을수록 SNS 중독 수준이 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 교우관계가 좋을수록 우울이 SNS 중독에 미치는 영향을 감소시키는 조절효과가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 청소년의 SNS중독에 대한 실천적 개입 방안과 연구의 한계 및 후속 연구에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of depression on SNS addiction among adolescents and the adjustment effect of friendship in this relationship through a study that examined the high penetration rate of smartphones and the increasing addiction of adolescents to SNS. The study involved 373 high school students, and the gender distribution was 167 male students. There were 206 girls. Correlation analysis showed a positive correlation between SNS addiction and depression, and friendships showed a negative correlation between SNS addiction and depression. A hierarchical regression analysis conducted to verify the effectiveness of friendships showed that the higher the depression, the higher the level of SNS addiction, and the better the friendship, the lower the impact of depression on SNS addiction. Based on these findings, the government proposed practical intervention measures for adolescents addiction to SNS, limitations of research, and follow-up research.
