학생의 수업 몰입과 학업성취도의 종단적 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 서울교육종단연구(SELS)2010 4~9차년도 데이터를 사용하여 학생의 수업 몰입과 학업성취도의 종단적인 관계를 분석하였다. 서울특별시 1706명의 중학교 1학년부터 고등학교 3학년까지 6년간의 종단 자료를 활용하여 변인별 기술통계, 상관분석, 자기회귀교차지연모형을 분석한 결과, 첫째, 학생의 수업 몰입과 학업성취도 간에는 정적 상관관계가 존재하였다. 둘째, 학생의 수업 몰입과 학업성취도는 시간의 경과에 따라 안정적이었다. 셋째, 이전 시점의 수업 몰입은 다음 시점의 학업성취도에 유의하게 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었고, 이전 시점의 학업성취도 역시 다음 시점의 수업 몰입에 유의하게 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리하여 수업 몰입과 학업성취도의 종단적 관계를 분석하였을 때, 양방향의 정적인 영향관계가 존재함이 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

In this study, we analyzed the longitudinal relationship between student’s class immersion and academic achievement using data from Seoul Education Longitudinal Study of 2010 4th~9th year. We performed the technical statistics, correlation analysis and analyzed autoregressive cross-lagged modeling using 1,706 students’ 6 year term data from middle school first graders to high school third graders in Seoul. The results were as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between student’s class immersion and academic achievement. Second, the student s class immersion and academic achievement appeared to be stable over time. Third, the student s class immersion at the previous time point was found to have a significant positive effect on the academic achievement at the next time point and the previous student s academic achievement also had a significant positive effect on the class immersion at the next time point. As a result, when we analyzed the longitudinal relationship between student’s class immersion and academic achievement, there was a significant positive influence on bidirectional relationships.
