팀워크 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 팀워크 관련 국내 연구의 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 교육 및 유관 분야 연구설계와 방향 설정에 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 1989년부터 2020년 1월까지 발표된 유관분야의 학술지 논문 전체와 학위논문을 대상으로, ‘팀워크’, ‘팀웍’, ‘팀워어크’, ‘teamwork’ 등의 키워드를 학술연구정보서비스를 비롯한 유관 검색 서비스에 투입하여 학술지 연구 논문(116편), 학위논문(69 편), 총 185편을 연구 대상으로 추출하였다. 수집한 자료는 미리 설정한 연구 동향 분석 기준(발표시기, 연구 방법, 연구 분야 및 학술지, 연구 대상, 변인/비변인 연구)에 따라 코딩되었다. 연구 결과는다음과 같다. 첫째, 팀워크 관련 연구는 1989년 처음 발표되어 현재까지 꾸준히 지속되고 있다. 둘째, 연구 방법별로는 양적연구 방법을 활용한 연구가 가장 많고, 질적연구, 문헌연구, 혼합연구 순으로나타났다. 셋째, 연구 대상별로는 (경영 및 일반적 의미의) 팀·조직의 팀워크 연구가 가장 많고, 수업· 활동·프로젝트, 간호사, 스포츠 팀, 호텔기업 종사자 등의 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 팀워크 관련 연구는다양한 연구 분야와 학술지를 통해 발표되어 연구자들의 다양한 관점을 확인할 수 있다. 다섯째, 팀워크관련 변인 연구는 전체 분석 대상 중 61.1%로 분석되었고, 대분류로 팀·조직 특성 요인, 행동 특성요인, 개인 특성 요인 등의 순으로 나타났으며, 세부 변인별로는 리더십, 성과, 팀, 만족 등이 많이연구되었다. 아울러 팀워크 향상 교육에서 학습자의 개인적 특성을 고려한 교육 과정 및 프로그램개발의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Teams and team-based activities are pervasive in today’s organizations as well as in education, and much attention has been paid to teamwork (often called “teamwork skills” or “team activity competence”). Not surprisingly then, there has been a good deal of domestic research on teamwork. However, to date, there is no research analyzing previous related research into this area. This study aims to analyze the research trends of teamwork with a focus on domestic research, and to suggest implications for future research. For this purpose, 185 domestic research papers (academic articles and graduate theses published since 1989) were collected using the Academic Research Information Service and the National Assembly Library Search Service. All 185 research papers have been reviewed and classified according to analytical criteria such as year of publication, research method, research field, research subjects and related variables. Our findings show that firstly, related research on teamwork has been growing since 1989. Secondly, there was more research conducted involving both academic journals and graduate theses using the quantitative method compared to research that made use of other research methods. Thirdly, concerning the subjects of study, teams and organizations (in general), class activities and projects, nurses, sports teams and hotel employees, were studied more than other groups, areas and professions. Fourthly, regarding the analysis results on teamwork related factors, 61.1% of the research involved diverse correlates. Based on these findings, it is necessary to continue studying teamwork using various research methods, as well as examining this research from diverse perspectives. Also, educational treatment for promoting teamwork skills are suggested with particular attention to the individual variables.
