국문 초록

지역문화콘텐츠는 지역사회의 특화된 이미지를 구축하고 대외 경쟁력 강화를 통해 지역 활성화를 모색하는데 있어 가장 효율적인 요소 중 하나이다. 이 중에서도 축제와 캐릭터는 관광객들을 지역으로 유인시켜 콘텐츠를 소비하고 지역을 체험하게 하는데 있어 중요한 역할을 수행할 뿐 아니라 다양한 연계콘텐츠를 통해 시너지효과를 창출하는 대표적인 콘텐츠로서 기능하고 있다. 이런 의미에서 지역만의 특화된 경쟁력 있는 요소들을 활용하여 지역사회의 활성화를 위한 자생적 모델 확보를 위해 다양한 노력이 필요한 시대에서 지역사회가 추진하고 있는 경북 성주군의 생명문화축제 사례, 울산광역시 중구 울산큰애기 캐릭터 사례를 기반으로 지역문화콘텐츠 활용의 대표적 사례를 분석하여 효율적이고 성공적인 콘텐츠 개발 및 활용 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Local cultural contents are one of the most effective factors in locating local communities by establishing specialized image of local community and strengthening external competitiveness. Among them, festivals and characters play an important role not only in attracting tourists to the region but also in consuming the contents and experiencing the region, and they also function as representative contents that generate synergy effect through various linked contents. In this sense, in the era where various efforts are needed to secure a self-sustaining model for activating the local community by utilizing specialized competitive factors of the region, examples of the life culture festival in Gyeongbuk Sungju County promoted by the local community, Ulsankeunaegi We analyze the representative cases of using local cultural contents based on cases and propose efficient and successful contents development and utilization methods.
