국문 초록

이 글은 과학과 인문/사회학과의 융복합수업 사례를 소개한 것으로 코칭 방식의 발표-토의-글쓰기 통합 수업을 통해 기초역량 강화라는 융복합교과의 목표에 효과적으로 도달할 수 있음을 제시하였다. 융복합교과가 추구하는 목표는 단순한 지식의 절합이나 접합이 아닌 학생들의 기초역량을 함양하는 데 있다고 할 때 이를 위해서는 무엇보다 학생들의 자발적인 참여가 중요하다. 본 수업은 학생들의 참여를 최대한 이끌어내는 방법으로 코칭 방법을 활용하여 발표-토의-글쓰기가 연계된 학생 중심의 Learning 수업을 진행하였다. 구체적으로는 네 개의 SSI(Socio Scientific Issue)에 대해 각각 3주차 수업을 진행하여 문제의 인식 - 다양한 전공 관점에서의 지식 이해-언어적 표현과 결과 제출로 수업을 구성하였다. 강의자는 자료 제공, 과제 조율, 논점 정리, 상담 등을 통해 수업에 관여하였고 대부분의 수업은 학생들의 발표와 토의, 글쓰기를 통해 이루어졌다. 하나의 문제를 3주 동안 발견, 탐색, 해결, 표현하는 과정에서 학생들은 자기주도적으로 수업에 참여하였고, 이러한 과정에서 문제를 재구성하고, 넓은 시각(big picture)에서 통합적으로 그것에 접근하게 되었다. 이는 학생들의 수업 만족도 조사에도 반영되어 학생들은 정보의 분석과 해석 능력, 의사소통 능력, 자기주도적 학습 능력, 성찰적 사고 능력 등이 수업을 통해 많이 향상이 되었다고 답변하였다.

영문 초록

This paper introduced a convergence classes, humanities and science that develop foundational competencies through self-regulating class model focused on presentation- discussion- writing. The goal of convergence curriculum is not to articulate or unite but to cultivate the students basic skills. It seeks to strengthen the foundation skills such as problem analysis and interpretation skills, problem solving skills, communication skills. Voluntary participation of students is the most importance to it. This class has been tried coaching method. Tried to operate Student-Centered Learning class that presentation - discussion - writing was linked. Specifically, the study was carried out for 3 weeks for each of the four SSI (Socio Scientific Issue). That were composed the discovery of the problem and analysis - understanding the issues in a variety of majors perspective - the linguistic expression. Instructors involved in the class through providing the materials, and coordinating tasks, organizing issues, and consultations. Most of the classes has been run through students presentations and discussion, writing that was seeking a solution, speaking, and expressing in writing. In the course of three-week search, solve, representing, students participated in a self-directed lesson. Students reconstructed the problem with their own words. They also got the ability to access a problem in large integrated perspective (big picture). It turned out well through the satisfaction surveys. Students answered That their Information analysis and interpretation skills, communication skills, self-directed learning skills, thinking skills, such as reflexive was much improved over the course.
