영문 초록

This study is to investigate the dental fricatives and affricates in the Silla Kingdom. Its results are summarized in the followings. ① There were not any examples of interchangeably using the Chinese language, [s] and [ts]. So the /s/ and /ts/ are distinguished. ② The Chinese language, [dz] and [z] are interchangeably used. So the [dz] and [z] are the allophone of the phoneme, /X/. ③ /X/ is interchangeably used with /s/, /ts/. But /X/ is independent. ④ /X/ was marked as a palatal sound of the Chinese language, and it was connected to [z] in the 15th century. So [X] is estimated as [Ʒ] ⑤ The phonemes of the dental fricative, /s/, /ts/, /Ʒ/ were existed in the Silla Kingdom.
