국문 초록

이 연구는 백암이 기초한 것으로 알려진 대한국민의회 독립 ｢선언서｣와 대한민족대표 독립 ｢선언서｣의 실체를 검토하고, 그 내용을 살펴본 것이다. 백암이 작성한 것으로 알려진 대한국민의회 독립 ｢선언서｣ 가운데, 백암의 저작은 한문본과 한글본 ｢선언서｣로 보는 것이 맞을 것 같다. 무엇보다도 1919년 4월 1일자 일제의 정보문서에 백암이 작성한 것으로 보고된 사실이 잘 말해준다. 아울러 한말 계몽주의자의 ‘천하 공리’와 ‘만국 공법’의 사고체계로 ｢선언서｣ 내용을 기초한 사실이나, 백암이 참여하거나 기초한 독립 선언서에서 연달아 주장한 ‘육탄 혈전’→‘영구 혈전’→‘최후 혈전’ 등의 字句 표출, 그리고 ‘절대독립론’과 ‘혈전’ 곧 무장투쟁론의 제창 등으로 판단해보아도 그렇다. 대한민족대표 독립 ｢선언서｣도 명확한 증거자료는 없지만, 백암이 작성한 것으로 보아 마땅하다. 그것은 백암이 문명을 떨치며 대한국민의회 독립 ｢선언서｣를 기초한 경험이 있는 점. 백암이 발표자로 참여한 ｢대한독립선언서｣에 ‘육탄 血戰’과 그가 기초한 대한국민의회 ｢선언서｣에 ‘영구 血戰’과 같은 유사한 표현이 주된 근거가 된다. 따라서 대한민족대표 독립 ｢선언서｣의 ‘최후 血戰’이라는 표현은 그것이 백암의 작품이라는 사실을 증거하고 있다. 게다가 백암이 명제세·조선홍 등 서북인맥 중심의 천진불변단 지도부와 地緣이 깊은 점 또한 간과하지 못할 증거라고 생각한다. 특히 백암의 독립 ｢선언서｣ 가운데 돋보이는 점은 제2차 독립만세운동의 이유와 목적과 지향과 각오를 천명한 대한민족대표 독립 ｢선언서｣이다. 여기서 백암은 계몽주의자의 모습을 뛰어 넘어 열렬한 독립운동가로 탈바꿈하고 있다. 이를테면 대한국민의회 독립 ｢선언서｣에서 드러나는 ‘천하의 공리’를 따지는 계몽주의자의 모습은 탈색되고, 대한민족대표 독립 ｢선언서｣에서는 ‘절대독립’과 ‘혈전’을 주장하는 열렬한 독립운동가로 거듭난 것이다. 나아가 백암은 대한민족대표 독립 ｢선언서｣에서, “우리 민족은 대한민국의 국민이요 우리 민족을 통치하는 자는 대한민국의 임시정부”라고 주장하였다. 이는 ‘대한 帝國’이 아니라 ‘대한 民國’, ‘대한 臣民’이 아니라 ‘대한 國民’으로의 인식 전환을 드러낸 것이다. 따라서 이 시기 백암은 봉건적 세계관을 완전히 불식하고 근대적이며 민주적인 세계관을 가진 독립운동 지도자로 부상한 것으로 생각된다. 뿐만 아니라 대한민국의 ‘완전코 절대한 독립’을 위해 ‘최후혈전’도 불사하는 절대독립론자요 무장투쟁론자로 변신에 변신을 거듭하고 있는 것이다.

영문 초록

The study looked at the facts of the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Independence of the Korean People s Republic of Korea, which are known to be based on Baekam. Among the Declaration of Independence of the Korean National Assembly, which is known to have been written by Baekam, the works of Baekam should be regarded as Chinese and Korean texts. Above all, the fact that Baekam was reported to have been written in the Japanese government s information document dated April 1, 1919, is a good indication. In addition, as well as the fact that the system of thinking of the Enlightenment’s ‘Congratulations of the Enlightenment’ and ‘Community of the World’ is based on the declaration of independence, such as ‘Physical Blood War’-‘Eternal Blood War’-and ‘End Blood War’ that Baekam claimed in a series of declaration of independence. The Declaration of Independence of Representative of the Korean People also does not have clear evidence, but it should be seen as being written by Baekam. It is that Baekam has established a civilization based on the Declaration of Independence of the Korean National Congress. Similar expressions such as Physical Blood War in the Declaration of Independence of Korea, in which Baekam was a presenter, and Eternal Blood War in the declaration of the Korean National Assembly, which he based. Therefore, the expression End Blood War in the Declaration of Independence of Represent at ive of t he Korean People a t t est s t o t he f act t hat it is a work o f Baekam. Moreover, I think Baekam’s deep depth in the leadership of the Tianjin-bulbyendan Order and the territory of Myeong Je-se, Cho Sun-hong, etc. is also evidence that cannot be overlooked. Especially outstanding among the Declaration of Independence of Baekam is the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Korea, which declared the reason, purpose, direction and determination of the second independence movement. Here, Baekam is moving beyond the form of an Enlightenment and is turning into an avid independence activist. For example, the Enlightenment, which examines the axiom of the world as shown in the Declaration of Independence of the Korean People’s Congress, has been transformed into an ardent independence activist who claims absolute independence and blood war in the Declaration of Independence of Representative of the Korean People. Baekam said, Our people are the people of the Republic of Korea. It is the provisional government of the Republic of Korea that governs our people, in the Declaration of Independence of Representative of the Korean People. This is not a Korea Empire but a Republic of Korea , also Korea subject but a Korea people. Therefore, it is believed that Baekam during this period completely dispelled the feudal world view and emerged as an independence movement leader with a modern and democratic world view. In addition, he is constantly transforming himself into an absolute independence activist and an a rmed s t ruggle act ivist who i s ready t o fight for t he complet ely great independence of the Republic of Korea.
