국문 초록

공공디자인은 도입된 후 짧은 시간 동안 많은 발전을 했다. 공공디자인을 통해 여러 가지 긍정적인 성과를 이뤄내기도 했으며, 많은 연구와 사업들이 지금도 진행 중이다. 특히 서울시에서는 주택 재건축 개발 사업과 함께 가로환경조성사업도 진행을 하고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 사업의 현황 분석을 통해 가로환경조성사업의 공공시설디자인에 대해 점검해 본다. 총 8개의 사업에 대해 공공디자인과 유니버설디자인 측면에 대해 분석하였고, 그 결과 보도, 펜스, 맨홀, 수목보호대, 볼라드, 가로등 등이 주된 시설로 나타났고, 대부분 제안 내용을 잘 준수하고 있으나, 일부 미 준수 사항도 발견되었다. 이러한 점검과 분석을 통해 효율적인 정책 수립, 입법, 사업 시행 등이 이뤄질 수 있는 토대가 되리라 여겨진다.

영문 초록

Public design has improved a lot in a short period of time since its introduction. Many positive results have been achieved through public design, and many research and projects are still underway. In particular, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is conducting a street environment development project along with the housing reconstruction development project, and this study examines the public facilities design of the street environment development project through analysis of the current situation of the project. A total of eight projects were analyzed on the aspects of public design and universal design, and the results showed that sidewalk, fence, manhole, arboretum, ballads and streetlights were the main facilities, and most of them followed the proposal well, but some non-compliance was also found. It is believed that such inspections and analyses will provide the basis for efficient policy-making, legislation, and implementation of projects.
