국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 행복감에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측되는 어머니 양육효능감과 유아 정서지능의 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 어머니 양육효능감과 유아 행복과의 관계에서 유아 정서지능의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 경상북도 소재 어린이집 중에서 본 연구자가 사전 협조를 얻은 8개 기관에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 어머니 192명과 유아 192명을 대상으로 하여 어머니 양육효능감, 유아 정서지능, 유아 행복에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석, 그리고 Sobel 검증법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니 양육효능감, 유아 정서지능, 유아 행복 간에는 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니 양육효능감과 유아 행복감 간의 관계에서 유아 정서지능이 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate a relationship between mother’s parenting efficacy, children’s emotional intelligence, and happiness, and to investigate the mediating effects of children’s emotional intelligence between mother’s parenting efficacy and children’s happiness. The established research problems to achieve the purpose of this study are as follows. First, what is the relationship between the mother’s parenting efficacy, children’s emotional intelligence, and happiness. Second, what is the mediating effects of children’s emotional intelligence between mother’s parenting efficacy and children’s happiness. Research subjects are 192 young children and their parents, aged 5, attending a kindergarten in the K district. Data was collected and analyzed correlation, hierarchical multiple regression and sobel test. The results of this study are as thus: First, correlation analyses showed that mother’s parenting efficacy, children’s emotional intelligence, and happiness were significantly correlated with each other. Second, children’s emotional intelligence had mediating effects on the relationship between mother’s parenting efficacy and children’s happiness.
