국문 초록

방기중의 한국 근현대 사상사 연구는 내재적 발전론을 탐구하는 과정이었다. 방기중은 반자 본주의 과제를 중시하면서도 민족이라는 주체를 잃지 않은 백남운의 사상에 주목했다. 강좌파마르크스주의 역사학의 정체성론적 역사상에 맞서는 동시에 조선적 특수성을 의식하여 민족 연합전선을 중시한 백남운의 궤적은 바로 방기 중의 사상사 연구가 걸은 길이기도 했다 . 방기중은 분석 대상을 중간파와 민족주의자로 넓혀, 해방 이후 농업개혁론까지를 포함한 민족경제 자립론을 탐구하였다 . 방기중은 식민지 말기 조선 사회를 ‘식민지 파시즘’으로 파악했다. ‘식민지 파시즘’론은, 파시즘논쟁 이후 근대성에 주목하는 쪽으로 진화한 일본파시즘론의 성과를 바탕으로 하여, 총독부의 ‘ 자치통제 ’=‘ 관치주의 ’라는 ‘식민지적 특질’이 본국의 혁신세력과 상보적인 동맹 관계에 있었다고 파악하고, 의사혁명과 총력전 개념을 의식하면서 ‘친일세력의 능동성’을 포착했다. ‘식민지 파시즘’은 1930년대 반자본주의 과제와 민족 주체의 결합, 그리고 해방 이후 남북한에서 공히 벌어진 민족주의의 고양을 잇는 중요한 고리다

영문 초록

Bang Gi-jung’s study of modern and contemporary ideological history in the Korean peninsula was a process of exploring the immanent development theory. He focused on the idea of B aek Nam-un who did not lose the subject of the nation paying attention to the anti-capitalist task. The trajectory of Baek Nam-un, which confronted the stagnation theory of the Kozaha( 講座派 ) Marxist historiography and at the same time conscious of the Korean specificity and emphasized the front of the national unity, was also the path of the Bang Gi-jung’s study of the ideological history. Bang Gi-jung expanded the scope of analysis to the nationalists and explored the theory of national economic autonomy including the postcolonial agricultural reform. Bang Gi-jung understood the end of the colonial period as ‘colonial fascism.’ ‘Colonial fascism’ theory is based on the achievements of Japan’s fascism theory that has evolved into a focus on modernity since the fascist debate. It was understood that the ‘colonial specificity’, ‘self-control’=‘governmentism’ of the governor general was in a complementary alliance with the innovation forces of the home country. It focused on the ‘activeness of the pro-Japanese forces’ in recognition of the concept of the pseudo-revolution and the total war. ‘Colonial fascism’ could function as an important link between the union of the anti-capitalist task and the national subject in the 1930’s, and the enhancement of nationalism in North and South Korea after liberation.
