영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to compare the determinants of wages and ‘good jobs’ among regular workers in Korean food service industry. For this purpose, we collected data from regional employment, which surveyed from 2008 to 2017. The analysis shows that the gab of average wage in the food service industry has continuously expanded over the past decade compared to all industries and that the average wage in 2017 was about one million won lower than the manufacturing sector. Second, male, older, married, and household share are common factors that are likely to be good jobs in all industries, but industry, occupation, and regional factors are different according to industry. The results of this analysis suggest that the development of ‘good jobs’ policy development by central and local governments needs to be differentiated according to the type of industry and self - efforts of the food service industry itself are urgently needed to expand ‘good jobs’.
