성인용 한국판 의사소통 체크리스트 개발을 위한 예비연구

국문 초록

의사소통장애 성인 및 노인을 위한 기능적 의사소통 능력의 평가와 중재는 재활복지의 중요한 영역이다. 국내에서는 고령화 인구의 급진에 비추어 성인 및 노인들의 기능적 의사소통 평가 도구개발이 아직까지 제한적이다. 이러한 연구적 필요성에서 본 예비연구에서는 국외 성인용 의사소통 체크리스트(The Communication Checklist-Adult, CC-A)(Whitehouse & Bishop, 2009)를 번안 및 검토하여 국내 성인 대상으로 알아보았다. 설문 평가에 참여한 건강한 성인화자들의 자가 평가와 이들의 친숙한 대화 파트너가 체크하여 평가자 관점에 따른 차이를 알아보았다. CC-A는 총 70개 문항으로 의사소통 방해가 될 수 있는 약점문항 50개와 의사소통에 긍정적인 도움이 되는 강점 문항 20개 구성되어있다. 평가는 20-50대의 의사소통장애가 없는 건강한 성인들이 스스로의 의사소통 태도에 대해 평가(본인평가-122명)하고, 다시 자신의 주요 대화파트너(122명)가 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 의사소통 약점과 강점영역에서 본인 평가와 파트너 평가 점수 간의 통계적 유의차이가 없었다. 그리고 두 평가자 관점에서 실시한 의사소통 약점과 강점에서 영역 간의 통계적으로 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연령대별 (20대-50대) 그룹 간 약점과 강점에서의 통계적 유의차는 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 평가 영역별 상위 점수 순위대로 약 30% 해당하는 13개 문항과 강점 영역 거의 50%에 해당하는 9개 항목이 두 평가자 결과에서 공통적으로 나타났다. 이 결과들은 추후 의사소통장애 재활 및 복지현장에서 뇌손상 성인의 가족(주 보호자) 보고에 의한 평가도구로 의미있게 활용될 것으로 기대되며 이를 위한 지속적으로 타당성과 신뢰성 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This preliminary study aims at knowing the characteristics of functional communication weakness and strengths in daily communication of Korean healthy adults from different observational aspects. The questionnaire in this survey was translate into Korean and reviewed from The CC-A(The Communication Checklist-Adult, Whitehouse & Bishop, 2009). This questionnaire include of 70 questions, which divided into two categories. 50 questions of‘communicative weakness’indicate the difficulties affecting communication limitation, and 20 questions were about ‘strength’ to be positive to communication. 122 healthy adults in 20-50 ages without communication problems checked for communication attitude by self. And their familiar-conversational partners(n = 122) checked again for their partners. There was no significant difference between Weakness and Strengths categories in CC-A in both self- and conversational-partner’s observation. And there was a significant correlation between Weakness scores and Strengths scores in CC-A in both self and conversational partners’ reports(Pearson correlation r = -.254~ .665, p<0.01). The highest scores was shown in 13 among communicative weakness, and in 9 among communicative strengths were common in both self- and partners’s reports. The was no significant differences among four age groups. This preliminary study should be more studied in the aspects of clinical importance considering brain damaged adults.
