국내 노인 운전자를 위한 운전재활 연구의 체계적 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 노인의 운전재활 연구의 동향을 파악하고 노인 재활 영역에서 운전 재활 분야의 중요성과 작업치료 분야에서의 접근방향을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 연구방법으로 전자 데이터베이스인 RISS4U, KISS를 사용하였고 2000년부터 2018년까지의 논문을 검색하였다. 주요 검색 용어로는 “노인”, “운전”을 사용하였다. 연구결과 노인을 대상으로 한 운전재활과 관련된 논문을 중심으로 운전재활 중재 시 고려해야 할 점이나, 운전실태, 운전에 대한 인식으로 한 논문이 4개(40%), 노인의 인지나 감각 처리 능력과 운전에 대한 상관관계를 한 논문이 4개(40%)였다. 그 외로 노인의 운전 평가에 대한 논문이 1개(10%), 노인운전을 위한 측정도구에 관한 논문이 1개(10%)이었다. 본 연구를 통하여 노인의 안전한 자가운전을 위해서는 노인의 인지적, 신체적, 시지각적 특성을 고려한 운전재활프로그램 및 훈련이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 작업치료의 한 분야인 노인 운전재활에서도 노인의 감소된 능력을 평가할 수 있는 체계적인 평가 시스템과 훈련 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이며 노인의 신체적, 생리학적 변화를 고려한 운전재활 훈련 프로그램이 반드시 개발되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify trends in driving rehabilitation of the elderly in Korea and to suggest the importance of driving rehabilitation in the area of g eriatric rehabilitation and the direction of approach in occupational therapy. We used electronic databases RISS 4U and KISS as research methods and searched for articles from 2000 to 2018. The major search terms were “elderly” and “driving”. The results of this study are as follows. First, the article about driving rehabilitation intervention should focus on driving rehabilitation related to elderly people, Four (40%) of the papers correlated with driving. In addition, there were 1 articles (10%) on the driving evaluation of the elderly, and 1 article (10%) on the measuring tools of the elderly driving. Through this study, it was found that the driving rehabilitation program and training considering the cognitive, physical, and visual characteristics of the elderly are necessary for the safe self - driving of the elderly. Therefore, strategic evaluation systems and training programs should be developed to evaluate the reduced ability of the elderly in the elderly driving rehabilitation, which is a field of occupational therapy. The occupational therapist, who is a professional occupation considering the physiological and physiological changes of the elderly, can play a role as an expert in driving rehabilitation.
