쿰란 공동체의 예정론 - 1QH와 CD를 중심으로

국문 초록

  본 논고는 쿰란의 예정론이 쿰란의 어떠한 사상적 기초 위에서 형성되었으며 어떤 형태로 쿰란에 영향을 끼쳤고, 쿰란의 신학을 이끌어왔는지를 연구한 논문이다. 즉, 쿰란이 가진 800여 개의 문헌 중에서 초기 유대교의 발전과정에 나타난 쿰란의 종교사적인 발전과정을 쿰란 초기 발굴 때 나타난 문서들, 1QS, 1QH, CD에 나타난 쿰란의 예정사상을 고찰하고 비교, 분석하여 쿰란의 실존신학의 측면에서 예정론을 고찰한 논문이다. 따라서 방법론적으로 4Q169, 4Q180, 4Q509, 4Q554, 11QT, 희년서(Jubilee)에 나타난 사상들을 비교 논증의 방식으로 분석하여 쿰란의 예정론이 가진 종교사상적인 자리를 분명히 하고자 하는 데 있다. 즉, 쿰란의 계약사상과 선택사상과 같은 쿰란적 신학사상 등이 쿰란의 예정론을 형성하는데 사상적인 기초 역할을 했으며, 이렇게 형성된 쿰란의 예정론은 쿰란의 신학을 종말론적이며 실존적으로 쿰란을 흔들림 없이 이끌어 갔다는 것이다. 쿰란이 처한 사회적 정치적 종교적 종말론 속에서 자신의 실존의 문제를 예정론이라는 쿰란의 신학으로 보완 발전시켜 나갔다고 볼 수 있다는 것이다. 그러므로 쿰란의 예정론은 쿰란이 처한 존재의 자리와 의미, 그리고 쿰란의 생명력인 쿰란의 신학에 견고한 연속성을 제공했다고 볼 수 있다. 쿰란의 예정론은 신학적으로 성서에서 출발한 계약 사상과 선택 사상을 기초로, 문학적으로는 종말론적 분위기에 의존하고 있으며, 사회적으로는 혼란한 BCE 2세기에서 CE 1세기에 이르는 정치적 종교적 과도기에 의존하며 발전한 쿰란적 실존신학이며 종말론적 공동체 신학이다. 그러므로 쿰란의 선택신학과 계약신학이 종말론을 만나면서 창조적으로 변형되어 특징적인 쿰란신학으로 발전한 것이며, 쿰란의 정치, 종교, 사회적 환경 등과 맞물리면서 쿰란 내에서 실존적인 신학으로 쿰란을 이끌어 갔다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

  Qumran has a lot of diverse theology, for example, Doctrine of the Messiah, Eschatology, God, Man, Predestination, and Covenant theology, Selection Theology, etc. Most of all, This paper presents the study of How Qumran build up the doctrine of predestination, and which theological basis supports the doctrine of Qumran predestination, and what is the function and the role of predestination in the Sitz im Leben of Qumran. Especially, This article gives to you new paradigm you can interpretate the scrolls and theologies of Qumran through the doctrine of predestination. Qumran has two kinds of doctrine of predestination, one is the deterministic or absolutized view of Predestination, the other is the moderate views of predestination. The strict view of predestination (deterministic) is expressed in the Rule of the Community(1QS), the War Scroll(1QS), and Thanksgiving Hymns(1QH). The most thorough presentation on predestination is found in the Thanksgiving Hymns. The moderate view of predestination is expressed in the Damascus Document(CD). The Qumranic teaching on predestination is considered the most distinguishing of the Sect"s doctrines. But about the doctrine of Qumran"s predestination the most scholars deny that the Qumran Sect drew their concept of predestination from the Old Testament, other alien sects or other jewish sects. The doctrine of predestination is basis of the continuity and the thought of Qumran community. Therefore CD has a more important emphasis on the foreknowledge, the foreordination, and the preterition. On the other hand, 1QM, 1QH, 1QS and Josephus have a reprobation of the destination of the wicked, the Kittim, sons of Belial, sons of Darkness. This article come up with that the doctrine of predestination was transformed on the Covenant theology and Selection Theology of Qumran in Qumranic eschatology. The doctrine of predestination is Qumranic Existentialism for the continuing existence of Qumran community.
