국문 초록

본 논문에서는 본회퍼의 묵상에 대한 이해를 위해 우선적으로 본회퍼의 말씀 이해를 다룬다. 이를 통해 하나님 말씀의 통일성 즉 구약과 신약의 양방향적인 관점, 그리고 교회 중심적이면서 동시에 말씀중심적인 성격을 가진 공동체성의 관점, 말을 걺과 응답, 책임 사이에서 말씀이라는 관점, 그리고 말씀의 현재성이라는 시각에서 읽고 이해하고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 논문은 이것을 바탕으로 묵상에 대한 정의, 방향성, 방법의 순서대로 진행한다. 그리고 마지막으로 본회퍼에게 있어서 묵상이 그의 삶과 신학에 어떤 의미를 가지고 있는지를 평가하였다. 이를 통해 본회퍼에게 묵상은 단순히 개인적인 내면의 영성에만 치우치는 것이 아니라 사회윤리적인 방향으로, 교회를 새롭게 하는 중요한 전략적인 성격을 가지고 있음을 발견했다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this paper is to discuss what "meditation of the Word" means to Dietrich Bonhoeffer. To this end, it attempts to discover the way he perceived the Word of God. As a result of thorough researches, it became clear that Bonhoeffer read and understood the Word in a fresh perspective: he read it from a viewpoint of unity(the Old and the New Testament), community(centered on the Church and the Word), the dynamics of "calling-response-responsibility," and nowness of the Word. With this understanding in mind, the paper advances to Bonhoeffer's definition, destination, and methods of the meditation: these are the answers to the questions on what the meditation is, what the goal of the meditation is, and how one can do the meditation. Finally, it evaluates the impact of meditation made on Bonhoeffer's life and his theology. For Bonhoeffer, meditation not only helps promote individual spiritual growth, but also helps transform the Church by strategically renewing of her ethicality.
