국문 초록

다윗 왕조의 발전을 다루는 사무엘기 하권에서 본문의 주제는 종종 일관된 길을 잃는다. 따라서 2사무 16장에 대한 학자들의 기존의 주장도 본문의 편집 시기와 횟수, 목적을 설득력 있게 결론 내리지 못한다. 본고는 2사무 16,10과 11-12의 다윗의 응답에서 이 균열을 확인하였다. 다윗은 시므이의 저주에 직접 답하지 않으며, 아비사이의 분노(9절)에도 적절히 대답하지 않는다(10-12절). 10절과 11-12절은 서로 다른 목적과 주제를 각각 가진 것으로 보인다. 이를 확인하기 위해 본고는 본문비평에서부터 문법적-사전적 고찰과 시므이의 저주를 전제하는 본문 간의 비교 분석을 하였고, 이를 통해 통시적 통찰을 얻고자 하였다. 즉 2사무16,10.11-12의 다윗의 응답을 분석하여 미묘한 신학적 차이를 보았으며, 그 편집적 구분을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 2사무 16,5-13의 내용을 전제하는 2사무 19장과 1열왕 2장과의 비교를 통해 같은 주제를 다루면서도 차이를 보이는 각 본문의 편집 단계를 추정하였다. 이를 통해 확인된 본문들의 차이가 친다윗적 입장에서 이루어진 다회적 편집이라 결론내린다. 일회적 혹은 이회적으로 이루어진 신명기계(Dtr) 편집의 일환으로 사무엘기 본문을 볼 수 없게 된 지금, 본고는 본문비평에서부터 시작한 어문 구조와 어휘에 대한 원론적인 분석을 기존의 결론을 넘어선 종합적인 대안으로 제시한다.

영문 초록

The main text of 2 Samuel, which deals with the development of the Davidic dynasty, often displays a lack of narrative consistency. Therefore, scholars’ pre-existent arguments have been unable to reach a definitive conclusion in regards to the timing, frequency, and purpose of its redaction the text of 2 Samuel 16. Also in this thesis an inconsistency was founded, which can be verified through David’s responses in 2 Samuel 16:10 and 11-12. David does not respond directly to Shimei’s curse(v.9), nor does he respond appropriately to Abisha’s anger (vv. 10-12); thus, it seems that verse 10 and verses 11-12 each serve different purposes and topics. Through a process of grammatical-lexical analysis and comparative analysis between the passages pertaining to Shimei's curse, this paper attempts to obtain a comprehensive understanding of this. In other words, a thorough analysis of David's responses in 2 Samuel 16:10 and 11-12 reveal subtle theological differences, substantiating editorial differences. Furthermore, an analysis of 2 Samuel 19 and 1 Kings 2- which presume the content of 2 Samuel 16:5-13- confirms that the two passages take different approaches in addressing the same topic, allowing for an estimation of the passages' editorial stages. These differences, corroborated by the text itself, yield the understanding that these passages are the result of multi-stage editing from a pro-Davidic perspective. As Deuteronomistic editing has now rendered the original text of Samuel inaccessible, this paper endeavours- through a foundational analysis of syntax and vocabulary- to present a comprehensive alternative that reaches beyond previously established conclusions.
