국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기혼여성의 결혼가치관과 그들이 인식하는 부부친밀감의 변화양상에 따라 잠재계층성장모형을 동시에 추정하여, 잠재계층을 분류하고 관련 영향요인의 유의성을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 여성가족패널 1차년도부터 6차년도까지의 종단자료를 사용했다. 분석 결과, 결혼가치관의 잠재계층은 변화유형에 따라 ‘보수적 가치관 고착형’, ‘중도-개방 변화형’, ‘개방적 가치관 유지형’의 3개 집단으로, 부부친밀감은 ‘저수준 유지 집단’, ‘보편-유지 집단’, ‘고수준 하향 집단’으로 3개 집단으로 분류되었다. 결혼가치관의 계층분류에는 연령, 직장유무, 최종학력, 가사분담 만족도, 결혼 연차, 결혼생활 행복감이, 부부친밀감에는 연령, 최종학력, 자녀유무, 가사분담 만족도, 결혼 연차, 결혼생활 행복감이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기혼여성의 결혼가치관과 부부친밀감을 종단적으로 연립하여 현재 한국에서 나타나는 가정학적･인구사회학적 변화를 이해하고자 하였다. 또한 잠재계층성장모형을 확장시켜 변화에 따른 잠재계층을 파악하였을 뿐만 아니라 두 변수의 상호관계를 살펴보고 관련한 영향요인을 제시하였다는 점에서 연구 방법론적으로도 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to estimate developmental trajectories of married women’s marriage values and marital intimacy applying dual trajectory modeling approach, and to identify determinants of the developmental trajectories. The Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families(KLoWF) was used, given its large sample size and generalizability. Results showed that three latent classes for marriage value were identified; ‘fixed conservatism’, ‘open minded-centrist’, and ‘consistent openness.’ Similarly, three latent classes appeared for marital intimacy; ‘consistent low-level’, ‘consistent universality’, and ‘downtrend high-level’. Age, academic ability, satisfaction of housework division, years and happiness in marriage were found to be critical determinants for both latent classes. Job status was solely influent to marriage values and the number of children was to marital intimacy, respectively. This study can be helpful to comprehend the present structure of Korean families and population, combining longitudinally married women’s marriage values with their marital intimacy. Additionally, this study had methodological significance, in that it found latent classes based on the longitudinal trajectories and their determinants, and futher suggested the relationship between two latent models extending conventional latent class growth model.
