심리상담자용 대리외상척도 개발을 위한 예비연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 심리상담자용 대리외상척도 개발을 위한 예비연구로서 남희경(2016)이 개발한 ‘외상상담 자의 대리외상척도’의 예비척도를 심리상담자의 대리외상을 측정할 수 있는 문항으로 변경, 구성하여 이의 측정모형, 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검정하고자 하였다. 척도의 측정모형과 신뢰도 및 타당도 검정을 실시한 결과, 첫째 심리상담자용 대리외상척도 전체의 신뢰도는 .91로 양호한 수준이었으며 하위요인별 신뢰도는 .61에서 .77로 적절한 수준의 내적 일관성을 나타내었다. 둘째, 척도의 요인 간 상관분석 결과 긍정적 영향을 제외한 모든 하위 요인 간 .42 ∼.70 범위에서 유의한 정적 상관을 보여 하위요인들 간에 독립성을 가지면서도 유의한 관련성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 준거타당도 확인을 위해 심리상담자용 대리외상척도와 심리적 안녕감척도의 상관 분석을 실시한 결과 부적상관을 나타내었다. 이를 통해 심리상담자용 대리외상척도의 신뢰도 및 타당 도가 어느 정도 확보되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 예비 연구로서의 한계와 의의, 심리상담자용 대리외상 척도 개발을 위한 향후 연구방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was to examine whether the ‘Vicarious Trauma Scale for the trauma counselor’ developed by Nam Heekyung(2016) could be validated as a vicarious trauma scale for counselors in general field. For this purpose, the vicarious trauma preliminary scale and the Psychological Well-Being Scale(PWBS) were administered to 177 field counselors. After confirming the model fit, the items were deleted, and the construct reliability(CR) and the average variance extracted(AVE) of the final 25 items were calculated through the confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, the model fit of the Counselor s Vicarious Trauma Scale(CVTS) was found to be good and the convergent validity was satisfied to a certain extent. However, the discriminant validity results showed that the discrimination between the negative sub–factors except the positive factors was low. As a result of the reliability test and the validity test of the scale, first, the CVTS showed a good level of reliability of .91 in the whole scale, and reliability of sub-factors ranged from .61 to .77. and showed consistency. Second, it showed a significant positive correlation between the range of .42 to .70 in each of the sub-factors except for the positive effect. This shows that there is a significant relevance while maintaining the independence between sub-factors. Third, the correlation analysis between CVTS and PWBS, negative correlation showed that PWBS decreased as the vicarious trauma score increased. This criterion-related validity of the CVTS was primarily identified through. Finally, we discussed the limitations and implications as a preliminary study, and future research direction for the development of vicarious scale for counselors.
