단재 신채호의 체포·신문(臺灣 基隆) 관련 자료 발굴과 사실 고증

국문 초록

본 연구는 1928년 신채호가 무정부주의 활동자금을 마련하기 위해 중국에서 일본을 거쳐 대만 기륭으로 건너가 위조 외국환을 현금화하다 체포되어 신문받는 과정에 대한 사실 고증을 시도한 것이다. 기존 자료에 대한 재검토와 새로운 자료 발굴을 통해 첫째 신채호가 그가 활동하던 북경에서 천진을 거쳐 일본 門司로간 경로는 橫濱·天津線으로 天津에서 門司로 갔을 것이기 때문에 기존연구와 달리 神戶는 거칠 필요가 없게 된다. 둘째 신채호가 기륭우편국에서 체포되어 신문받는 과정에서 마침내 일본어로 자백했다는 기존연구는 근거가 없는 것으로 수정되어야 하며, 새로운 자료를 통해 조선어나 필담으로 자백했을 가능성을 언급하였다. 셋째 신채호가 신문받은 장소는 기존의 설명처럼 기륭수상경찰서가 아니라 기륭경찰서이고 그곳은 현재 基隆市防災大樓가 들어서 있다는 사실을 고증하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to examine the process in which Sin Chaeho in 1928 was arrested and arrested for transferring fictitious foreign exchange from China to Japan through Taiwan Keelung in order to raise funds for anarchist activities. Through reviewing existing data and discovering new data, First, unlike previous studies, Kobe does not have to be tough, because Sin Chaeho went from Tientsin, where he was active, to Moji, Japan, where he went from Tientsin to Moji on the Yokohama-Tientsin line.  Secondly, the previous study that Sin Chaeho was finally arrested and confessed in Japanese should be revised to be unfounded, and the possibility of confessing to the Korean or Chinese letters through new materials was mentioned.  Third, the location where the investigation was conducted is Keelung Police Station, not the Keelung Harbor Police Station as described above, and it is confirmed that Keelung Disaster Prevention Building is now located.
