북한 김정은 체제의 소학교 국어 교과서 단원 구성과 수록 제재의 특성 분석

국문 초록

국문초록 이 연구는 북한 김정은 체제에서 발행된 소학교 국어 교과서의 특성을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 2014년 개정되어 발행된 북한의 소학교 국어 교과서의 형식적 특성은 첫째, 제재 중심의 독본형 교과서에서 목표 중심의 학습활동 교과서로 변화 하였다. 개정된 북한 소학교 교과서는 단원마다 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기의 기능 목표와 함께 단원 도입면을 시작한다. 또한, 학습 도우미를 제시하여 학습활동의 단서를 제공하였으며, 자기점검 질문을 활용한 평가 방법을 제시하였다. 이 밖에도 이전 단원을 복습하고, 해당 단원을 평가하는 등 학습 목표와 내용, 평가의 흐름을 반영하여 단원 구성의 통일성을 높이고 있다. 그러나 차시별 학습활동이 학습자의 사고 과정을 유도하여 단원 목표를 구현하는 방식에는 미치지 못하고 있다. 둘째, 기존 교과서보다 단원 수를 절반으로 줄이고 학생들의 과제 해결시간을 확보해야 하는 듣기·말하기및 쓰기 활동을 대폭 확대하였다. 셋째, 흑백의 단순한 삽화에서 벗어나 화려하고 선명한 천연색 삽화를 제시하였다. 그러나 남녀 성 역할의 구분이나 적대 세력에 대한 표현은 여전하다. 이는 교과서의 형식변화를 통해 김정은 시대가 추구하는 학력 증진과 사회안정을 반영한 것으로 파악된다. 다음으로, 교과서의 내용적 특성은 첫째, 과학, 지리, 컴퓨터 등 전문적인 내용을 다루는 제재가 증가했다. 이는 체제 유지를 위한 이데올로기 강화에 공헌했던 이전 교과서의 제재와는 다른 지점이다. 둘째, 김일성과 김정일 우상화를 다룬 제재가 대부분 삭제되었으며, 최근 북한사회의 발전상과 긍정 적인 미래상을 제시하는 제재가 다수 등장했다. 김일성과 김정일에 대한 노골적인 어조의 제재는 삭제하였지만, 김정은의 치적 찬양이나 충성맹세에 대한 언급이 학습 도우미를 통해 추가되었다. 이는 교과서 제재의 질을 제고하면서도 김정은 체제의 안착을 추구한 것으로 파악된다. 셋째, 동화나 동요, 이야기를 제시할 때 작가명을 병기하였다. 이전 교과서에서 김일성이나 김정은 이외의 작가를 표기하지 않던 모습과 대별된다. 이는 교과서 내용적 측면에서도 김정은 시대를 이전 시대와 구별 지어 김정은 중심의 안정된 사회를 추구하면서도 북한 인민의 중요성을 부각시켰다고 해석된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to analyze structural organization of North Korean textbooks units and materials in 2014 curriculum revision. 5 revised textbooks were selected and compared with old textbooks. From the formal point of view, it can be seen that firstly, the textbook changed from reading oriented textbook to goal oriented textbook. The revised textbooks of North Korean primary school consisted of the introduction of unit in each unit by presenting the goal of four language use functions of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In addition, learning helpers were presented to provide clues to learning activities, and evaluation methods using self-examination questions were suggested. for the more, the previous unit was reviewed and the unit was evaluated, so that the uniformity of unit composition was improved by reflecting the learning objectives, contents, and evaluation flow. However, it does not reach the way of realizing the unit goals by inducing learner s thought process. Second, we could confirm that the number of units in the previous textbooks was reduced to half, and the listening, speaking and writing activities required to secure the time for solving the problems of students were greatly expanded. Third, it showed colorful and vivid color illustrations from simple illustrations of black and white. However, the contents of the illustration were clearly portrayed in the sex role. It is understood that the Kim Jong-un era is different from the previous era through the formal change of the textbook. Next, the changes in the textual content of the textbook are as follows. First, compared to previous textbooks, which contributed to the strengthening of the ideology for maintaining the system, the explanatory text that deals with professional contents such as science, geography, and computer increased. Second, most of the sanctions regarding Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il s idolization or deification were deleted, and the contents were revised to present a social situation and a positive future image, thus refraining from explicit loyalty vigor or enraged tone. On the other hand, references to the praise of Kim Jong-un or the pledge of loyalty were presented through the words of the learner. Thirdly, I presented the author s name of fairy tale, sway, and story, while Kim Jong-un is a measure considering mental education for idolization. In previous textbooks, there were no writers other than Kim Il Sung or Kim Jong-un. The nature of such sanctions is also seen as an intention to point out that Kim Jong-un s era is different from its previous form.
