국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 실태와 사회적 문제에 대한 진단, 미래의 한국 사회에 요구되는 인재상과 필요한 가치 탐색을 하면서 인성교육진흥법 제정을 둘러싼 여론과 선행 연구를 통해 미래 사회에는 정보기술의 발전과 활용의 원천이 인간에게 있고, 진정한 경쟁력은 인성에 달려있다는 인식을 확인하고 있다. 인성 개념은 ‘고유한 본성이나 사람다움’, ‘성격(性格, Personality)’, ‘인격(Character)’으로 표현되어 인간이 지향하고 성취해야 하는 품성과 자질을 내포한, 전인적 노력을 통해 ‘바람직한 인성형성’을 지향한다. 따라서 학생 자신이 궁극적으로 함양해야 하는 과제로 제시된 인성은 ‘가치 지향적’ 이며 인간만이 지니는 ‘도덕적 품성’을 의미한다. 인성교육진흥법의 목적은 “건전하고 올바른 인성을 갖춘 시민” 육성에 있으며 이를 위한 핵심 가치‧덕목(예, 효, 정직, 책임, 존중, 배려, 소통, 협력 등) 및 역량(의사소통 능력과 갈등해결능력)을 선정하고 있다. 인성을 갈고 닦아야 하는 이유는 개인적인 차원을 넘어서 타인과 공동체, 그리고 자연과 같은 대상과 더불어 올바른 관계 맺기에 있음을 확인하였다. 목자이신 예수 그리스도를 본받아 사제성소 지원자들을 양성하는 신학교는 사제 양성이라는 특성에 따라 공통된 인성으로서 그리스도를 닮기 위한 특별한 가치‧덕목, 역량을 제시하고 있다. 양성계획에서 인성 교육은 가장 기본적인 바탕이며 올바른 인격 성숙과 자기 실현을 위해서만이 아니라, 신앙인으로서나 사제로서의 삶을 위해서도 전제되는 조건이다. 이를 위해 인성교육의 방식을 개별 동반과 공동체 동반으로 나누어 살펴보았으며 공동체 생활은 학생들에게 책임의식을 지니고 사랑을 표현하는 방식을 익혀 그리스도의 모범을 본받을 수 있는 인성 체험의 기회를 다양하게 제공한다. 인성교육은 인격 전부 를 포괄하는 영성 영역을 통해서 비로소 완성되며 학교와 가정, 교회 공동체들과 지역사회를 연계하여 추진되어야 한다. 또한 일회성 교육이 아닌 지속적 인성교육을 통해 올바른 인성을 함양하도록 해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study examines the actual conditions of adolescent, diagnosis of social problems, value research of personality and necessary values for future Korean society. And through preceding study and the public opinion in making for “Law of personality promotion education”, it is confirmed that the information technology development and origin of its application depends on human being and the true competitiveness lies on his/her personality. The concept of personality is expressed as to ‘intrinsic nature or true man’, ‘personality’ or ‘character’, and it pursues the ‘desirable personality formation’ through whole endeavor containing character and nature which man aims and to achieve. So, the personality which is suggested as to the subject that Seminarian himself ultimately cultivate means the ‘value oriented’, and ‘moral character’ that only man possesses. The goal of ‘Law of personality promotion education’ is to foster ‘a sound and upright citizen’ and chose core values and virtues for this (manners, filial duty, righteousness, responsibility, respect, consideration, communication, cooperation, so on) and capabilities (communication ability and conflict resolution ability). The reason for cultivating the personality outrun personal dimension, it lies on making right relationship with others, community and the nature. The seminary where to format priest candidates who wants to follow Jesus Christ as a shepherd presents special value, virtue and capability as to common personalities to imitate Christ. In formation plan, personality education is the very basic foundation, and also is the pre-requisite condition for not only right-matured personality and self-realization but also as a believer and a priest life. This study examines the method of personality education as an individual and community. The community life provides diversely the chances of personality experiences to imitate Christ accustoming the way of expressing love with responsibility. The personality education is finally completed within spiritual domain which includes the whole personality, and it is to be promoted connecting with school, family, church community and neighbor. And also it should be cultivated for the right personality through continuous education not as one time education.
