영문 초록

Maulmandulgi Projects have recently replaced the traditional urban renewal tools, such as Residential Environment Improvement Projects and Urban Renewal Promotion Projects, which have been facing their limitations in Korea. Several local government like Seoul Metropolitan Government, Suwon City, Cheongju City have introduced the ordinances for Maulmandulgi Projects. Japan has long been employing Maulmandulgi institutions for urban renewals. Then, this paper suggests the distinctive, diverse and citizen-led operations of Maulmandulgi ordinances that may have be based on the identities of each city.
