해양경찰의 직무특성이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

해양경찰은 해양안전과 해양주권 수호 그리고 해양치안확보를 위해 새롭게 거듭나는 각오를 다짐하여 정책을 수행하고 있다. 아울러 해양경찰조직의 발전을 위해 직무특성과 구성원의 자기효능감의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 해양경찰조직의 직무특성이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향은 유의미한 결과로 나타났다. 분석결과 해양경찰조직의 직무특성의 하위변수로 근무특수성과 직무중요성이 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 경우 연령과 교육수준이 통제변수로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이 연구에서 통제변수보다 독립변수가 설명력을 4.6% 더 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 해양경찰은 동북아 지역 내 영유권 분쟁이나 불법어선의 조업단속 등 업무현장의 열악한 환경 속에서 근무하고 있으며, 해양경찰조직의 내ㆍ외적인 발전을 위해 직무특성을 파악하고 조직구성원 개개인의 자기효능감 개발에 적극적으로 지원해야 한다.

영문 초록

Maritime police are implementing new policies to protect maritime safety, maritime sovereignty and maritime security, and examine the relationship between job characteristics and self-efficacy for organizational development. The effects of maritime police organization s job characteristics on self-efficacy were significant. The results of the study are as follows. As a lower factor of maritime police organizational job characteristics, it was found that work specificity and job importance affects self-efficacy. In this case, Age and Education level act as control variables. Finally, in this study, independent variables have a greater explanatory power than control variables by 4.6%. In addition, the maritime police are working in the harsh environment of the workplace, such as disputes over territorial rights in Northeast Asia or the crackdown on illegal fishing boats. In order to develop the maritime police organization, it is necessary to identify job characteristics and actively support the development of self-efficacy of the members of the organization.
