국문 초록

이 연구는 김명순 시적 표상공간에 나타나는 장소 정체성을 통해 시인의 내면세계를 살펴보는 데 의의가 있다 김명순은 . 자유연애사상을 실천한 1세대 신여성문인이다. 하지만 김명순은 기생 소실의 딸이라는 태생적 한계에 부딪쳐 당대지식인 남성들에 의해 타자화된 여성이다. 그녀는 데이트 강간사건의 성폭력 피해자였음에도 불구하고 오히려 나쁜 피를 가진 부도덕한 탕녀로 몰리며 매도당한다. 당시 지식인의 선두대열에 있던 남성문인들은 정절이데올로기와 신분차별의 윤리를 기반으로 김명순을 핍박한 것이다. 김명순은 자신을 억압하던 당대 상황을 극복하기 위해 월등한 지적 능력을 토대로 창작의지를 불태운다. 이는 비이성적인 당대 현실에 맞서는 방어기제로 볼수 있다. 김명순이 이어나간 창작의지는 자신이 꿈꾸던 사회적인 역할 수행과 비 이성적인 시대 상황 극복에 실패하지만, 질적 양적으로 우수한 작품을 창작해내는 자양분이 된다. 김명순은 왕성한 시 창작활동을 통해 시적 정체성의 내면세계를 확장해나간 것이다. 장소 정체성은 특정한 장소를 사용할 때 드러나는 기억, 인식, 해석, 생각 따위의 총체를 말한다. 김명순이 풀어나간 자전적 시의 장소 정체성 고찰을 통해 시인이 경험한 다양한 내면세계를 만나게 된다. 한 시인이 경험하는 장소에는 시적 정체성과 내면세계의 의지가 내포되어 있기 때문이다. 비록 김명순의 창작의지가 억압과 핍박을 초월할 순 없었다 할지라도 자기 모색의 한 방편이 되었음을 부인할 수는 없다. 김명순 시의 장소 정체성 고찰을 통해, 그녀가 풀어나가는 내면세 계의 양상이 내면세계의 분노, 내적 저항의지, 동일화된 자기모색의 태도로 나타난다는 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study is meaningful to examine the inner world of the poet through the place identity that appears in Kim Myung Soon poetic representation space. Kim’s a first-generation novelist who practiced free love thought. In addition, Kim’s a woman who is objectified by male intellectuals at that time because she is a daughter of a mother who is a Kisaeng and second wife. Although she was a victim of sexual violence in a date rape case, she is attacked as being an immoral and lascivious woman with a bad pedigree. Male writers who were in the forefront of intellectuals at the time persecuted Kim Myung Soon based on the ethics of chastity ideology and discrimination. In order to overcome the current situation of suppressing herself, she fires up her creative will based on her superior intellectual ability. This can be seen as a defensive instrument against irrational current reality. Kim‘s creative will fails to overcome the social roles and irrational times that she has dreamed of, but it is a nurturing factor for her to create excellent works that are both qualitative and quantitative. Kim Myung Soon has expanded the inner world of poetic identity through her vigorous poetry creative activities. A Place identity refers to the totality of memories, perceptions, interpretations, thoughts revealed when using a particular place. Through the consideration of the identity of the autobiographical poetry that Kim Myung Soon has solved, we meet various inner worlds experienced by the poet. The place where one poet is experienced is because it has a poetic identity and the will of the inner world. Kim’s creative will could not transcend oppression and persecution, but it is certain that it is a means of self-seeking. Through a review of her place identity in her poem, it turns out that she is releasing her own inner world with her own internal anger, the will of inner resistance, and the attitude of self-searching.
